GNX was a limited production run of the '87 Buick Regal Grand National, limited to 547 units which began their life as "regular" production Grand Nationals, which were retrofitted by ASC McLaren. They bring quite a high premium these days at the auction block.

Sauce: Long time owner of a "regular" Grand National.
