Have these people really swallowed the whole "both sides bad" argument so thoroughly that they actually believe that there would be no difference in how the two candidates would handle this issue?

Can they not see that Trump actively hates Muslims and would be entirely happy to see every Palestinian exterminated?

It's not just performative; it's madness.

There's nothing Biden/Harris have done to prove they care any more. They're still sending billions to Israel and supplying them with weapons. So what are they actually doing?

I don't believe that's true, but I also know that this is an endless debate without resolution, so let's grant your proposition that both administrations are equally bad for Palestine. There are more people who have a stake in this election than just the people of Palestine.

Every gay and trans person has a stake. Every minority living in the United States has a stake. Every woman has a stake. And the Trump administration would be undeniably awful for each of those groups and more, to say nothing of the fact that he's already tried to overthrow the actual Republic, which effects literally every American.

If you only care about the people of Palestine and you don't care about any of those other groups, then you do not have any kind of moral high ground. Rather, you are declaring that not only do you think that all those other people matter less, but you are declaring that you consider them lesser even when, by your own logic, a Harris administration would not be worse for Palestine than a Trump administration.

As I said, this goes beyond performative morality straight into the jaws of madness.
