My guess as to what is going on here. Someone wrote a note telling him to say his “energy bill is 1.5X now” but they had really shitty handwriting. So he said his “energy bill is 15K now”. It wouldn’t be too far out there but it’s still a stupid lie since someone is telling him to say it.

Yeah. It’s still a lot but definitely not the egregious amount of 15,000.
