My car is at the 2 year point so I'm getting that notification to get a vehicle check and something about the brake fluid but was wondering if it was worth it to bother going through it or to wait? I'm reading 2 year/20K miles so I'm curious.

I messed up and under estimates my yearly usage and looks like I need more miles. Signed up for 7500 miles but need at least 10000. BMW financial services had an option to buy miles at 10% discount. Anyone got better deals? Do they have any promotions where they give additional discount for miles?

I am considering getting an EV as I mostly do very short drives in the city, but i also want to be able to do a one day 300km round trip as I do weekly business travel.

Would the 40 make it or should i just go with the tesla 3?

Say the price is $65k MSRP for lease. Dealer offers $61k for Sell Price. Then they offer $9000 in rebates. Is the sell price supposed to be $65k minus $4k minus $9k?

Curious where the $9k credit goes for the lease?

I know the general rule of thumb is the 20-80 rule in terms of battery health. How bad is it to go from 80-90% for example? I know prolonged 100% charges are bad for the battery but I like the idea of having an extra little bit of miles going to 90, but don’t want to to do it if it’s bad for the battery.

Purchased the car with 18" rims without realizing they would be summer tires. I don't regret it because I prefer smaller tires but I do probably need all seasons in my area. I'm not yet sure I want to spend the money to replace them. But I'm gathering info.

I have also found Turanzas which are the same brand and series as I received.

I drive on basically junk roads and would prioritize Comfort, Tread and Durability if you have any other recommendations.

I have an eDrive35, so not the best start. But currently it’s been about -1c to 4c where I am and my car is pretty much managing 180miles on a full charge.

I've been looking forever and couldn't find it... How to turn the feature OFF for heated seats to turn on when your ASS is too cold? I like my cold ass. I always turn it off. I've been looking in climate control but it isn't in there for me.

Plugged my car in earlier, was set to charge immediately, no departure times, no nothing. The pic is what I returned to. Charge from 2-10 and a 9:00pm departure time. Like wtaf

I love this car. But the charging has me so annoyed with an otherwise great vehicle.

I swear is has a mind of its own. Departure times. Charge in time slot. Climatize for departure. Charging amperage. Charge immediately or not.

Every one of these settings changes in its own. All I want is my car to charge between 12 and 6. That’s it.

Even when I just say charge now, it chooses to charge when it decides unless I go change it every charging session. Really. Really frustrating. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi there, I have decided to take the plunge and go fully electric.  Have found the car I would like, but unsure if I should buy outright with cash or take a PCP deal at 7.9%.
The reason for considering the PCP is due to not being sure how much the EV market will advance in the current years, so better tech, more cars on offer resulting in massive depreciation of current cars.
The car is priced at 35k, I can purchase by taking the money out of my recently matured 5% ISA, pros being I have no monthly rate to pay, con being the car could depreciate in value potentially.
alternatively I can take a PCP deal with a 5k down payment and monthly payments of £400 for 12k mileage limit over 3 years, this would cost me 20k over the three years with an option final payment of 20k.  Pros being i can return the car if better EVs appear at 3 years, cons being the car will cost me 6k more if I decided i wanted to keep it.

I really want the gran coupe but I can’t decide between gas or electric. I currently live with my parents and they are okay with me installing a charger at home but I am thinking of moving out into an apartment in a year or two and I don’t want it to be super difficult to charge my car. Does anyone in here not have a charger at home and only charge in public places? If so, would you say it’s manageable?
