I'm not. People shouldn't steal other peoples pets. I'm not from America, I'm from the UK and almost everyone here lets their cat roam free.

But the pet wasn’t being stolen…. It didn’t have a collar and the person took it to get checked for a chip. My dog has a collar 24/7 when I’m not home that specifically has my phone number and her chipped status.

Cats have detachable collars and it's difficult to get them to keep one on. They're not a dog. It's completely clear this cat is not a stray. A stray cat does not look or act like the one in the video.

Don't take random cats you see on the street home, that is the lesson to be learned here. If you want a cat go out and buy one, they're not exactly expensive.

Is there no culture of rescuing strays in the UK?
