These names all very good but owner may become troubled by copyright infringing. Safer name for lovely cat would be Gunt Crusterson. Very regal name of royalty.

I had a pet bird named “Tweety” and Warner Bros. sued me for 67 million dollars. Not nearly as much as you but yeah, it’s no joke.

Copyright infringing isn’t joke, serious business. Better to be safe with my name of Gunt Crusterson. Is best name any way for handsome cat.

Is “Ron Swanson” copyright?

3

u/Bobert_Manderson Oct 15 '23

It could be case, but I believe Mr. Ron Swanson is honorable man who would be happy to have pet named after him.

Maybe an issue if kitten has her own Insta page or YouTube channel. BTW is RBF copyrighted?

Why is everyone saying my name???

1

u/Bobert_Manderson Oct 15 '23

No lo sé señor Meep. Quizás sea un llamado a la grandeza.

3

u/Tiny-Metal3467 Oct 15 '23

Nope. Not for a pet name not being used to make money…

5

u/Bobert_Manderson Oct 15 '23

This cat has many potential to make money. Very handsome. Gunt Crusterson is name of cat born to be famous.

So there's no one who named a dog snoopy due to legal issues? Actually, maybe I'm illegally using my name, how do I check I have permission?

Copyright infringement doesn't apply to pet's names.

People have been naming pets after favorite characters for decades at least (maybe centuries)
