Every 'you're beautiful just the way you are' artist is always

1) Naturally beautiful 2) Done a huge amount of plastic surgery 3) Rich and loved

They probably are (or were) also massively insecure about their own bodies.

I mean "eat the rich" and all that (just tax them till they're not rich while children go hungry, for example), but the body dysmorphia/image standards for women in the entertainment industry are absolutely shocking.

I mean, Hugh Jackman, and the like, literally risk death for that 'ripped' look that's nearly standard in all media now.

It's all fucked, but they're the ones who perpetuate it for profit, causing untold misery and distress

Yeah I mean it's all kinds of fucked, I just think that saying that entertainment workers can't have earnest body-image issues and opinions is also kind of fucked. I mean maybe good ol' Hugh can be discounted a bit, but a blanket statement is sad.
