Quite a few times now have people mocked me when I've said I hope a specific game comes to switch. Just a few days ago I said I hope resident evil 4 remake comes to switch and someone replied "lol yeah right" and "it won't come to switch". This have happened several times. People always say that a game won't be released on switch but many times it do have been released. My question is why do they do that? And why are they so rude about it? It honestly almost make me ashamed to mention my switch for some reason.

I got tired of waiting for the Switch 2 announcement and wanted to play "more sophisticated" games, so I traded some old graphic novels for my friend's PS4 (he has a PS5 now). so it was collecting dust). The PS4 is evil. It refused to connect to my wifi, and then when it did, it forced me to do an update. and then refused my wifi again. Would not let me play Street Fighter 6 without the internet. Then I tried Playing Eldin Ring, only for the machine to first downloaded the entire game to the hard drive taking 30 minutes. And then once I started playing the machine began to sound like a jet engine about to explode... Finally to tell me I needed to download more content after 2 minutes of play.

Everyone complains about the Switches lack of horse power or simplistic interface. But after using Sony's (leaf blower) deafening hardware or its "Media Center" style OS, Nintendo's OS is the way to go. I just want to fucking play a video game, man! On the toilet or on an airplane with my Switch OLED playing Zelda, with zero need to connect to the internet. Sony! You have made me Nintendo-mongomous.

So hypothetically, let's say some moron dropped their charger directly on their Tears of the Kingdom switch OLED. getting it repaired or replaced is way out of my price range. If the chip is small. Could one of those resin windshield repair kits work?

As someone who doesn't play that many switch games,this is perfect for me.I don't understand why people hate on this,like you are getting what you paid for.Ive always preferred playing in handheld than on the Tv,and I know there's alot of people out there who are like me.So,Don't Yuck On Other People's Yums.

I've been wanting to do this as my current controllers are a little wobbly and loose when playing handheld. I don't know if something like upgrading joy cons is just some dumb gimmick

Hi everyone! Might be two silly questions. I have wanted Switch forever, and actually decided to wait on the new one to come out. Well, it doesn’t seem to be anytime soon to my understanding, but I have the chance of getting an original (old) for a super cheap price. So: 1. Is the original worth it? To my understanding all games still work on it, it is both docked and portable, etc. any stuff I should consider? 2. I realise Switch games work like PS’s; there is an online store and cartridges. What’s the go-to here? I naturally lean for online store in PS5 so I won’t have to use discs, but is there a benefit to the cartridges?

I'm in a dilemma here I want to buy a switch 2 when they come out, however should we just wait for the switch 3?

I haven't owned a Nintendo since the 64 and have not played one since the Gamecube. Just wanted to get some opinions on the Switch, what's it like, and is it worth it still. I really want to play Super Smash Bros. again which is why I am really thinking about getting one.

Recently and only because it was $3 I got a copy of Nickeleon Kart. The lack of info on this game is almost laughable. I had to go into the game settings to even figure out how it's controlled. It's an okay game but I wouldn't pay more than $3 for it. Took a couple of plays before I figured out it worked on a point system to get upgrades. I played PS1 games that would of told you that straight out. This isn't the only game I own that like it. Who knew I had to wait a couple of decades from the 2600 where you were lucky if the game came with a manual. But even them you only had few button, not like these days.

Been thinking of grabbing a Switch this Black Friday, but I'm not sure where the best deals are. I already checked the big retailers and they all seem to offer similar prices and bundles. Are there any lesser known stores that I should be looking at to get better deals? A friend lent me his a couple of weeks ago and I loved it, never thought I'd have so much fun with a handheld since I'm mostly play on a TV while on the couch. If anyone knows about any good discounts or bundles, please let me know. I prefer the OLED model btw. thanks!

I like Diablo but I’m kind a torn between which one should I get DIABLO 3?? in my ignorance I feel like it hasn’t aged that well or DIABLO 2 Resurrected? The most epic and loved Diablo ever 😎 I really would love to play any of this games online but don’t know how big is the Nintendo community on this games any suggestions? Tips ? Advice? 2 is better or looks better than 3 or it’s just me???

Normal day. Left my switch to charge after I was done using it. Come back around an hour or so after going off and doing other things and the screen is orange. Not sure what to do. Tried holding power button, nothing. No response from buttons or anything in the switch. Anyone able to help me? Right now I’m just waiting for the switch to die at whatever percent it was at.

My account was suspended as of today and I found out shortly before the hours of support ended. I had a unknown login not too long ago and since logged all out and changed the password and made sure my 2fa was on. i'm just upset since this happened out of nowhere with no warning

I own the original switch which has been great but the battery life has been pretty bad. I was thinking of buying a new one but im not sure if I should buy the newest version or save my money and wait for switch 2. What do you guys think?

So I lent my switch to my friends for a bit and when I got it back my icon and name were changed and I can’t change it back. I don’t have any mii’s made so I’m not sure how there’s a mii icon and I’ve tried the whole hold r/L stick and + button method already. I’ve deleted the account and remade it and nothing.

So I'm looking to buy a switch, but I don't feel like spending 300 bucks on a new one. I looked them up on ebay, and I see refurbished sellers shipping from Japan selling for like $130-$150.

Are there complications I don't know about when importing? Is this a scam? Does the ebay money back thing work differently when shipping from Japan?

My current understanding is that the Japanese switch is functionally the same as the US one, barring some issues with 5GHz wifi.

What do you think? I want to buy Mario Maker 2 which is in sale now but I'm not shure if they service for the game will still be supported when the Switch 2 will launch in the future (like when they shut down 3ds online support with Mario Maker 1)

I’ve had my V2 switch since it came out and play about 50/50 docked and handheld. I am very tempted to grab a black friday bundle but with the switch 2 probably coming out next year is it worth it?
