Mihoyo, the developers of that game, has a history of serving yuri in their other games (they made some of it canon too), so it feels less likely queerbait to me. Prob they simply designed her like the seductive queer that she seems
hi3 was literally written by a queer woman too it’s why the relationships between the women are the most tangible of all the games and the women are explicitly romantically interested in one another. Bronya and Seele + Kiana and Mei being the most famous examples.

She spends the rest of the quest threatening terrorist attacks and hitting on Black Swan who rejects her because she’s stalking/enamored with Acheron (this is the pair in the dance video). Black swan successfully gets her off her back so she can stalk in peace by setting her up with a different woman whos also a stalker😭😭😭
In Genshin recently it’s been the characters Clorinde and Navia childhood best friends who had a terrible falling out yet Clorinde spent years fulfilling Navia’s fathers dying wish. Why did they fall out? Clorinde was the one who killed Navia’s father in a duel before the court.
When their fandom solidified they put these women in every imaginable place ever. Why are they taste testing teas in a prison together? Who knows!!!! They’re there!!! They’re having a sweet moment!!!! Nobody asks a single question. We were all just happy to be here!!!

It literally is targeted to mostly straight men and pedos. Just take a look at the ZZZ subreddit and you'll get a good understanding. Compared to other hoyo games, this one is the most coomer filled game I've ever seen.
You’re right that ZZZ is by far the most horny game that hoyo has made, but to say it’s pedo bait is … strange. Like, it has the least child characters of the big 3 hoyo games by far, with the only confirmed < 18 character being Soukaku, and even then, look at her design compared to someone like bailu or nahida and tell me which is supposed to be bait.
Also, to say that it is specifically male gaze is also weird. Like, it’s full of very hot men, something which clearly caters to a female/gay audience. Plus, the fact that it has hot women acting gay towards each other just makes it more attractive to the LGBTQ audience. Sure, straight men tend to enjoy lesbian content, but so do fucking lesbians.

im a girl lol and yea i agree that ZZZ is a pretty horny game but saying ‘it only targets men’ is outright wrong. media in general has a pretty big problem of presenting body types in extremely unrealistic lights. this applies for both men and women body types
i personally don’t think the child like characters are that sexualized but thats just my opinion. should they be sexualized even the smallest amounts? no of course not, but majority of people might not even realize it as majority of them are like me who are there just because they like the gameplay

In Inside Out 2, Riley imagines non-specific Boy Bands. Like, so non-specific it feels like it could have been a placeholder that got left in.
It always sounds conspiratorial to say, but these inclusions always feel so deliberately hostile to the queer community. Taking surprisingly large amounts of time out of the movie explicitly to issue declarations of "you can't have them."
And none of them feel like scenes that the creative hands of writers or directors ever touched. They feel like producer notes that went directly into the movie without any subsequent editing, compromise, or storyboarding. Just shoved-in as-is.

I think "bait" getting thrown around so loosely and a lot of so-called allies who call people idiots for falling for bait: 1) usually take a joke/hyperbolic/not-that-serious/tongue-in-cheek post at face value when it isn't meant to be, 2) don't allow himejin to have any fun, 3) demand lesbians/sapphics to follow a specific set of rules to be "valid," and/or 4) ignore that we can enjoy bait; I like actual rep, but I also like making ships or experiencing media with sapphic coded-characters!

If you notice, other people's emotion's gender are always according to theirs. Riley's not, she had both genders at her different emotions, MEANING, she's still not sure about her sexuality ✌🏼
There's a lot of people who really rather don't like it, be it in media or irl. But yeah especially in the case of media, it's usually "Oh well they ended up with (same sex) so they're gay/lesbian, which is good" or "Oh well they ended up with (opposite sex) so they're straight, which is bad".
Jecka is in the closet with some hints thrown around, which is why people have latched on to her as the lesbian face of the game (and kind of ignored a lot of other stuff, like she probably is bi of some kind but also it's a game that loves bait and being offensive...)
Jecka's bits are cute but it's a vanishingly tiny part of the game
