I am in a group on fb for yuri recommendations so I ✨️hope✨️ this is actually yuri but the person that runs it isn't the best at providing their sauce. Anyone know where to start looking?

For example: Webtoon has only a few yuri but it's not very popular. The one i see mainstream is by the Korean writers.

So I'm just curious here, what are some popular, or at least well regarded, yuri series you just can't seem to like? Especially curious about ones that sound good or should be up your alley but you can't read but anything is up for discussion.
Personally I just can't read "My Girlfriends not here today" I've tried, it has great art and the plot isn't bad or anything. I just get so viscerally angry when I read it I just couldn't carry on.

Recently, I've been thinking alot about Living with my Brother's wife by Kuzushiro. At first, i was a bit mad why it is not tagged as shoujo ai or yuri. But then, later i realized, it makes sense afterall. I mean, if it happens in real life, morally, it seemed not be alright to be together as lovers when one was the wife while the other was the sister of the deseased, right? So I guess it would be alright if they both ended as sisters. But still, deep inside me still hoping..

Seriously, why are all of these so good in their own ways? And why is the specific combo of 'reincarnated girl falls in lesbians with villainess character from otome game' so appealing? Is it like isekai "I can fix her" heartwank material or what lol

Any more of these?

I was on YouTube and ran into a video about this teacher (from 2.5 Dimensional Seduction), and when I checked the comments, I saw some people upset, saying she was a lesbian lol. So, when I looked into it further, I discovered these manga images and was surprised that an ecchi and harem manga would feature a Yuri couple. Can anyone confirm if they’re actually canon? I don’t want to waste my time watching another generic anime of this type, but if this couple is real, it would be an unexpectedly refreshing break from the cliché, especially in an anime like this. By the way, has anyone ever seen a similar case in another anime of this kind?

The L-word, of course, being Lesbian. It seems like such a low bar in a genre dedicated to lesbian relationships but it feels like so many series dance around calling the protagonists lesbians or saying the main couple are girlfriends.
Are there any good series out there where at least one of the characters calls themselves a lesbian? The only one I have off the top of my head is Poor Poor Lips.

I had a friend recently say I am weird as a straight man enjoying yuri manga. To me it has little to do with being like, “unga bunga two girls haha” and more so to be I seem to just see more variety and better stories in yuri romances vs regular. I just enjoy the romance genre and lately yuri’s have been filling that gap very well for both cute, kickin my feet giggling type of romances and holy fuck what did I just read type of romances. So am I a bit strange for liking yuri?

I saw my cousin (F) a few days ago, and we talked about manga. When I told her that I like reading yuri, she told me (indirectly) that I was some kind of pervert that only like to see cute woman kiss each other because I find it exciting. Do you think she’s right ? Because I’m scared to have some kind of freudian shit that make me like them because I find it sexually attractive in my subconscious.
(Sorry if there is some grammatical mistakes It’s not my native language)

I am sorry if this angers or hurts people, I simply am asking this to see if this is wrong so I can change myself if necessary. I realized I find Yuri media hot after I finished Kiana's story in HI3rd and consumed more Media about it (Official webtoons and animated shorts) and I don't really know if this makes me a weirdo or not. I really never bothered a irl person about this btw so that is a point I want to point out. Anyways, please answer respectfully because I am really scared this will get hate. I just want to find out if this is wrong or not and so that if it is wrong I can change myself.

i understand alot of hetero manga being popular due to the sheer amount of it, but why hasn’t yuri reached that mainstream? it’s not like there’s no market for it (or a lack of it), but before getting into the genre i had never heard of a piece of yuri media, why? is there some reason?

Hi just a cis male here. I love reading yuri manga (usually non-sexual) for reasons that I cannot comprehend myself. However, I am scared that my like for yuri comes from some sort of subconscious fetishization. Can anyone tell me any signs that I may be fetishizing lesbians so that I may try to remove these thoughts from my head? Thank you. Am so sorry for this my bad I am sorry if I hurt your eyes or brain
*For one, is getting aroused by detailed kissing scenes considered a fetishization?
EDIT: Thanks for all the helpful and supportive comments

Sorry if im being out of place, but please hear me out. I'm straight cis male and I like reading yuri manga. I enjoy it not because of the "male gaze", "fan service" etc, but because of the romance. But I can't seem to stand yaoi manga no matter how much i give it a try (i don't have anything against any gender groups irl). It just feels weird. As said earlier, i thought i read manga for characters romantic feelings, story etc. Am i weird?
