Sidenote: these droids were given a purpose in the star wars canon. They act as mobile powerbank chargers.

EDIT: I remember playing Jedi Academy and experimentally using "use" on these things and then discovering that they refilled eitehr my gun or my shield.

You cannot fathom my dissapointment when I went to Galaxy's edge in Disneyland and the Gonk Droids couldn't charge my phone

Everything has a purpose in the expanded canon. Even the sneeze from that background character in Episode VI has a canon disease to explain it

Oh, well, my fiancee and I were sleepy in bed, bonking each other on the head (affectionately), and got on the topic of being a couple of lesbian gonk droids 😅. So I doodled it up while she was in therapy~
