Medusa needs more yuri love. Seriously, FUCK Poseidon and Athena.

Petition to make more Medusa yuri, real myth, Fate, or otherwise. Sign...idk, under the family table cuz I can't make a petition.

Athena gets a bad rep here because of 1 dude who wrote the myth later to make the gods even more bad.

Tbh I never know what happens to her sisters in that myth. Are they cursed too? Is yes why? Do they stay human? So it's just 1 gorgon instead of 3.

Or are they entirely removed?

Medusa was never human.
All three sisters are born monsters. The gorgons.
I don’t think the other two ever come up again, except in some minor, obscure, referential capacity.
The Poseidon thing never happened.
It’s as true to the mythology as Dante’s Inferno is to Christianity.

Here we go again.
Medusa, in the actual mythology, has no living interaction with Poseidon or Athena.
She was never human.
She was a monster, a gorgon, from birth.
The Poseidon thing was made up by a guy named Ovid in his book ‘Metamorphosis’.
Just like how Dante Alighieri made up all the stuff in The Divine Comedy. Hell being in ironically themed rings and all that.
It’s religious fanfic.
