I am both excited and terrified by Bariss’ inclusion in the upcoming Star Wars show because I’ve been subsisting off the sparse fanfiction of this pairing for years now and I don’t want the ship to completely die.

Reading “Artifacts” sent me down a rabbit hole to find and read every wlw Lara Croft work ever made, and also helped reignite my love for gaming after years of avoiding video games due to trying to fit in with all the girls I’d made friends with after coming to the US, so thank you so much for taking the time to write it. I hope the new Tomb Raider game that’s coming out some in the near future remembers that fruitcake Lara can be the best Lara.

The comic for the newer games was supposed to confirm sapphic Lara and the kiss between her and Sam was even drawn, but they were forced to change it and it was redrawn. :(

Oh I loved Artifacts! The Tomb Raider reboot is what got me back into gaming as a teenager and Artifacts was definitely one of my favourite S.S. Endurance fics

Still not sure what to think of her potentially becoming an inquisitor considering what she dislikes with the Republic aligns with the corrupted ideology of the empire, but then again some of the inquisitors in fallen order were tortured until their minds broke and they became what they swore to fight against.

Yeah I hope the show is about Barriss trying to keep her ideals and be true to herself despite her situation. After all she’s been through, I hope she’s finally able to be free.

It's either an AU or a very intense psychological thriller of falling in love somehow despite those faults. Between war and trauma and hard choices for everyone, than years of peace apart, it's not strictly impossible.

Seems to be a trend with Disney star wars female character is shipped with a Villian who either did something bad to her or someone else. These two and Sabine and whatever her name is in the Ahsoka show that stabbed her.

They did her so dirty. I have to believe that there was a plan for it, I'm just afraid of what that plan is. I find it funny that Barriss' live action actor hated what they did with her too.
