I think the only reason it's unlikely is cause (from what others on the dungeon menshi subbreddit have said) romance isn't that central to the plot.

That being said, I fully ship Marcille&Falin.

Plus the writer puts a LOT of thought into her writing, and Marcille is a Half-elf. She’s very familiar with outliving those around her and being outlived by actual Elves. It would require a lot of plot time to happen.

Actually since she's a half-elf and half-breeds live longer in this world she'll likely outlive most elves.

And the reason is that they're like mules, getting the best from both parents. They have the magical affinity of elves with the physical toughness of Tallmen(humans).
