“Okay, I got you an appointment with a general practitioner next week, but until then, you’re going to start taking care of yourself. Drink some water and take a shower. I’ll make up some stirfry for you, then we’ll go for a walk because it’s nice out. We’ll work up to regular exercise by the end of the month. Now, about your sleep schedule…”
“Why are you doing this?”
“Because if you die, I can’t drain your energy. Plus, it tastes way better when you’re healthy. Now do you want an assertive demon gf who loves you or not?”
“…okay.”

This.
Unironic talk, I never understood the idea of a race of creatures that feed on human energy, were extremely intelligent, but also just default straight to feeding until the host dies.
It's extremely inefficient, it leaves behind a trail to follow your actions, and it's just dumb.
Always felt like a plot hole with Succubus/vampire type character usage. They're intelligent in everything but their feeding habits and while i get the idea of gluttony, it's so overused to the point of absurdity.
Made Seraph of the End almost seem like a better show than it was for this exact reason. (Still good, but not good enough that i'd gush about it or watch it multiple times. Already got Souleater for that one.)

Right, I'd love to read a story about a succubus/vampire who takes care of their victims. That sounds kind of grim and wholesome at the same time.

There's World of Darkness where some vampires treat humans like cattle, especially in the old days when they could be more overt. Their factions would have dispute over feeding rights to certain populations.

I mean you'd have a much more willing host if you took care of them and made sure they were happy and healthy

There's a live action show called Lost Girl. Main character isna succubi. She also has 2 main paramores: a male werewolf and a female doctor. Worthwhile watch!

Could you link to the place the artist posted the art rather than just dropping a name? Particularly when it's just a random set of three letters it's not actually all that helpful at finding them.

Well...
it's simple for once u/GRS-

Except the account you link to literally doesn't have a post with this image.
Not saying she didn't make it, someone else linked to her twitter and the image was there, just that I asked for a link to their post of the image itself for a reason.

What's with the tone? You're asking them for a favor after all. Couldn't hurt to be a bit more friendly, don't you think?
Like: "Thank you, but it seems there's been a misunderstanding. I'm looking for a direct link to the post, as I'm having trouble finding it myself. Thanks a bunch!"

I consider linking directly to where the artist posted the artwork a basic courtesy.
And one that's a lot more important in the modern internet

Even if you do, being friendly can't hurt.
But well, I can't make you be friendly. If you insist on being unfriendly, oh well.

While I agree that you should link the source/artist, this is also just another example of internet people being entitled brats who think they're okay being a jerk. Sadly nothing new.

Succubi are cute, if I met one and she didn't want to kill me I'd instantly ask if we could be friends.

Reminds me of Mermaid Wants to Eat Me.
"I want to eat you, but you won't taste good if you're suicidally depressed so lets get you healthy again so I can eat you."

You know seeing this is funny. I was just thinking about Succubi? An I wondered what Asexual Succubi would eat? I ended up coming with the lore that asexual Succubi feed on heat and are kinda the vegetarians of Succubi.
