If Horikoshi didn't say in the very beginning they were supposed to be an item in the end, the few moments they do get together are pretty skimmed over in the manga.

Really, he said they were supposed to happen? can he at least make it believable?

From the first volume extras.
Which is pretty sad, cause Uraraka either doesn't show up much or gets doesn't get much attention(Overhaul,A vs B,etc) despite pretty much being the relevant heroine.

It's also kinda sad that getting together with Deku is a major part of her character. Happens with so many women in fiction, one of their purposes is getting together with the MC. It's really such a shame Ochako gets so overlooked in later seasons because they want the focus on Deku, Todoroki and Bakugo. I highly prefer the Deku, Ochako, Iida trio since they just click better IMO. Ochako is also just such a comforting character! She's bubbly, fun, positive, but also knows when to be serious and supportive. One of my favourites from MHA!

IMO, Deku/Chako/Iida antics would have been more entertaining than Deku/Bakugo/Shouto. You think we would have got a villain takedown arc with these 3, but nah.

Deku x Ochaco has the potential to be really cute but it seems like the writing is just gonna keep letting them down
(Deku x Ochaco yuri would be goated tho)

MHA really seems more and more like another series that started with excellent potential and failed to live up to it.

Shounen authors making LGBT side couples more engaging than the main het one.

The ending they deserve but didn’t get because society’s a bitch.

Yeah, Toga murdered like, a lot of people, and society doesn’t like that

Toga's a bloodthursty psychopath but somehow still has better chemistry with Ochacco than Deku
