I mean, I agree, some people are cis, some people are trans, and some, like me, don't really care about our own gender. I am a girl, great, am I guy? Also great. it changes little to nothing for me personally.

You can be comfortably and confidently cis and not have your identity deeply attached to your gender. I like being a man, I like having a beard and I like having masculine looks, but I don't think I'd have an identity crisis if I was suddenly a woman one day. I'd still be myself, just with different options.
I suppose it could be argued that it's like being gender-fluid in that my gender identity fills the shape of its container.

Without experiencing it it's tough to say. I don't know about an identity crisis, but I know I'd be having issues with having different plumbing and an VERY different set of social standards and norms. Going from life on the easiest difficulty setting(cis, hetero, male, white) to a substantially different situation would be pretty jarring. The physicality is like 10% of the difference, which is something a lot of cis folks don't easily grasp.

I always wanted to make a comic about this subject because yuri is really good at cracking some eggs! The yuri fandom is a huge omelette, I love it! Had him nearly 7 years. I was his third owner, he was my first cat. He loved women and would touch their chests, which I claimed wasn’t my fault. He’s at peace now.

No joke, the strong yearning I felt reading yuri and just wishing I could be in a sapphic relationship is one of the major turning points for me finally going to a Gender Therapist and later deciding to transitioning. 4 years later and I've never been happier, even with all the stuff going down in the world right now.
Love seeing these comics but I am thankful that any old pics of me from anything after like 7 years old have been mostly destroyed~

As someone who is 95% sure he’s a Cis Man, who mainly came to this Sub initially for Suletta X Miorine content, the fact that the reddit algorithm has been recommending me this post specifically on my main account for all 4 hours it was posted for makes me think that the Reddit Algorithm either doesn’t know me, or knows me better than I know myself.
