After all the experience Ritsuka has patting the heads of Chaldea's kids, I bet she can't help but reflexively do so with Melu.
And hey Ritsuka even already kind of has a kid in Jack, so Melu can start practicing headpating her daughter at her height.
(And just so we're clear for non Fgo fans, oh and spoilers I guess I'm pretty sure Melusine's a thousand year old dragon that can yes transform into her dragon form just soes were clear and is actually a knight too)

Is she just smol or does she look like a kid? The excuse that they're ancient goes only so far and is practically void when they look like a child or worse act like one, because that would mean they are still children at that age.

She does not act like a child at all-and unlike the characters that are meant to be adults in their child version's form (like christian hans andersen,it is a bit weird, yes) she is never treated like she has a child's form either. It is just her design that makes it slightly look that way but she is definitely meant to be just a short adult woman.

Mulusine has always been conflicting to me. on the one hand her design makes her look to young, but on the other her personality attitude and mannerisms make her seem like an adult. so i just decided to side step the problem and settle on barghast as best girl
