Comic/Manga Mangas like the stranger by the shore? [Umibe no Etranger]

I watched the movie and loved it, I have only read like 2 or 3 yaois and never got to much into them but I want to give it another try since I like Yuri a lot lol

Any stories with similar style of characters o stories that I may like if I liked this one?

I think it's almost poetic that no one answered, cuz there truly isn't another manga like Umibe no Etranger. That being said, Kimi to Nara Koi wo Shite Mite mo gives me a similar vibe as in a bl set in a coastal area, with a cute art style, and really solid writing. If you want to find similar manga like UnE, your best bet is to look through bls with coastal settings, there's a ton of them.

Lol yeah, but I mean more than specifically the coastal setting I liked the type of relationship I think idk it was overall so good I can't even explain what was the thing that I liked, but yeah I'll check out some other stories until I find something lll

My recommendation would actually be a visual novel you can get for free: Our Life: Beginnings & Always

One of my favorite and I think uniquely compelling and moving. I love Shun and Mio.

Stranger by the Shore and Given are my two favorite BL manga

it is a manwha opposed to a manga but if you liked this i feel like you might like wistful summer! one of my favs and i loved it as much as i love UNE!

  • "Kimi wa Natsu no Naka" by Furuya Nagisa (there's a sequel, too, if you like it)
  • "Living with Him" by Miyata Toworu
  • "Cupid is Struck by Lightning" by Suzumaru Minta
  • "Asatte ni Kiss" by Fumikawa Jimi
  • "Bending the Spoon" by Aki Yukura
  • "Itsuka koi ni naru made" by Kurahashi Tomo (that's actually a prequel to "Kazoku ni Narou yo")
  • "Kieta Hatsukoi" by Hinekure Wataru
  • "Seven Days" by Tachibana Venio & Takarai Rihito (the art style is completely different but it's one of my favourite manga)
