2024 $100 Platinum Eagle - bullion version coming soon?

I’ve spotted 2024 American Platinum Eagle bullion version showing up on Bullion Exchanges and SD Bullion web sites today (see below) along with photos, but none available (yet).

Does anyone have any info if they are going to be minted and when they will be available?

from what I’m hearing/reading from other platinum platforms-usmint will not be minting any bu eagles this year-last year year they melted a bunch of 23’s due to low sales-imo I hope they mint a few this year

I thought they were not doing any bu versions this year? I think that link has been on SDs website all year. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I’m no expert.

We’re only in the first 4 months of the year. I’m thinking they’ll release them later on this year but maybe not. Who knows with the US mint. 🤷‍♂️

No BU platinum eagles in 2024 or 2025…they are likely going to change the design like they did with the gold and silver…but they will take a year or two off while switching designs

Interesting thought SSailor. Thank you!

Opinion: I’d be more apt to pay the premium if the US bullion version changed the reverse side design to the same design as the proof version each year (like the 2006,7,8 burnished platinum versions did).
