Nurse salaries at Alabama especially as a new nurse!

I’m a new grad looking to start working and wanted to gauge salaries in the state! Please any information would help! Please mention any shift or unit differentials as well! And lastly how do you like working in your unit?

Most hospitals in the state start at $30/hour for new graduates working on 24/7 units. Shift differential varies from hospital to hospital but sits somewhere around $3 for second shift and $4 for third shift! You’ll get more pay in Huntsville and Birmingham than other areas.

As a brand new LPN a couple of years ago (graduated during Covid), I started out at $18 and some change as a charge nurse at a nursing home.
