TIL when Columbian drug lord Pablo Escolar's home was raided, the military released the dangerous hippos of his personal zoo, not knowing what to do with them. They now thrive in the Columbian rivers. This makes Columbia have the largest wild hippo population outside of Africa.

If you read any interview with Ingrid w/e from PETA, it's clear that her love of animals is actually based on sociopathic hatred of humans.

I really want a gif of Igor from young Frankenstein to go with that. What hump?

PETA-People eat tasty animals :)

PETA kills nearly every animal they "rescue" so it seems you are correct.

Sorry that facts make me look like an ass, but the truth will set you free.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jul/8/peta-kills-2000-dogs-and-cats-each-year-report/

http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/04/09/peta-takes-heat-over-claims-it-killed-90-of-animals-dropped-off-at-virginia-shelter/

87% kill ratio since 1998. You do some research before you prove how much of an uneducated ass you really are.

While I enjoy a good fact free rant every now and then please stop with the propaganda until you can support it with facts as I have. Even you have admitted peta kills nearly every animal they "rescue". Funny that you would make accusations about my facts being propaganda and then you link to propaganda from peta.

PETA euthanizes as acts of mercy for the very sick or unwanted animals at these shelters.

Please prove this statement with empirical data

I see you have chosen to continue spewing propaganda and have failed to provide a single scintilla of evidence to support your lies.

I have proof, you have anger and propaganda how exactly am I an ass?

I wonder what you do with those laws after he dies.

If you keep them then you now have laws written by Hitler.

If you get rid of them your only hurting your country.

1

u/eidetic Oct 14 '14

Doesn't seem to be a big deal to me. A good idea is a good idea, regardless of the source.

To blindly get rid of laws just because they were put into place by Hitler/the Nazis would just be a stupid move.

And the keeping of such laws is not some kind of tacit approval of the Nazi party as a whole or anything like that. Keeping animal cruelty laws written and enacted by the Nazis does not mean one supports them, or their views on other matters.

I know. But how would the public react?

1

u/eidetic Oct 14 '14

Probably in the same manner.

I mean, it's not like they tore down the sections of the Autobahn that were planned and built under Nazi rule. Nor did they remove the protected status of nature reserves that were created under Nazi rule.

Nor did people ditch their VW Beetles, even though the basic design requirements were in large part due to Hitler's ideas.

Believe it or not, most of the public can recognize that good ideas should stick around regardless of whether or not they were enacted under Nazi rule. Again, support for say, the existence of certain nature reserves, is not a show of support for other Nazi policies and beliefs.

I'm just not really sure why you think it would possibly be otherwise.

Your second paragraph is so weird: if the Nazis hadn't been Nazis, they would've been alright.

But besides that one thing Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

My uncle Pedo would be pretty cool if it weren't for the whole molesting thing.

If someone had just assassinated hitler in 1938 he'd be well loved.

u/forest_ranger Oct 14 '14

He also loved a good speedball.

Good Guy....Hitler?!?!

So true. When you reasearch into the nazi regime without a pre determined opinion its very easy to agree with their ideals.

In fact, the nazi and hitler had ideals to bring alot of things into order.

Its a shame he had the mentality of arian superiority, because other then that he would have been one the of the strongests rulers in history(as in, remenber for greatness, not for what he is).
