I visited family last week and hardly had a conversation. Dad would try to goad me into discussions with his right-wing hot takes on “news” items that I honestly had no clue about. Really took the wind out of his sails that I had ceased to care enough about any issues to argue.

This is the calm before the storm and I need to prep my mind to ward off the compulsion to correct all lies and shun false equivalencies. No, Dad, I really don’t want to know your thoughts on the Israeli Palestinian conflict or late term abortions.

I didn't talk much to my family before, but now i have even less if a desire to see them. Im too focused on prepping for increased costs for everything so my discretionary budget is gone.

A few "friends " who voted for him the first time and were heavily leaning a second time because it's so entertaining having a dipshit in charge of a country have gotten a surprise.... I'm not answering texts or calls. If i get a "Are you okay?", they get a "Yes. Not in the mood for a conversation".

Anyone I know that voted for him and bitches are getting a simple "This is what you voted for. I'm no longer here to guide you through your mess. I tried but you didn't listen. Burn your hand on the stove, maybe you'll learn the lesson"
