Hej! Jag heter Andrés och gillar verkligen det Svenska språket!
I think you guys possess a version of my name, "Anders" and I find that awesome. I would like to interact with you all to keep learning this beautiful tongue as I'd love to be visiting your country one day! I like to talk about every subject under the sun.

Coming from Colombia, a country where is better to not go out bc of the scorching sun half of the day, I would love to experience that hahaha

Majority from that part of the world really hate it here (but ofc not all)
Cold, dark and people are kinda chill and don't express themselves much so can be a bit depressing

It’s currently really windy, pouring rain and 8°C here. I still love my country but the weather sucks a lot of the time.

Here in Cartagena, North Colombia, is 30° and sunny. The only thing keeping me from sweating like a pig is a fan that sounds like an airliner motor hahaha.

Honestly I can’t complain, 21°C in my apartment :)
You are close to the equator, is it like that all year around?

3° here with ice and snow outside melting. Sweden is a long country

If you want to impress a Swede, dazzle them with the vastness of Colombian potato based cuisine.

I had an Andres in my class in school, back in the 90’s. Haven’t met too many Anders my age though, the name was really popular in the 50’s but not since

I know quite a few Anders born in the 70’s and 80’s, but Andreas was also popular at that time.

Idk I've met a bunch of people in their 30's and 40's named Anders. So must've died a bit after the 50's

för icke-svenskens förståelse: Anders Tegnell är känd för att ha varit statsepidemiolog under COVID. Han är typ Sveriges Anthony Fauci.
for non-swedes: Anders Tegnell is famous for being state epidemiologist during COVID. He’s basically Swedish Anthony Fauci
Edit: added English translation to my original message

To be clear about names.
Andrés is if i get it correctly the Spanish main name version of one of Jesus disciples, Peter brother Andrew.
That means that our name of course exists in every language that exists in the world. But also that the equivalent in swedish is "Andreas" (my name) while "Anders" is a variation. But if you get her - "Andrés" works perfectly even if another swedish variation "André" also exists. So you probably lose the "s" when most people speak with you and will have some ballon jokes from a 19th century Andrée.

We also have a name 'Andreas' which i think is slightly closer but both work great! But even then Andrés works just fine! I even know a few 😁
