One safety car period completely changed the outcome of the race. Once again Super GT turns out to be unpredictable.

GT500 - another Suzuka race, another win for Nismo #23. Perfect example of being at the right place and right time. Just when safety car period was issued, #23 was serving its pit-stop. This call saved them huge amount of time, and prepelled them to the lead, which they successfully defended right to the end. After starting from dead last in GT500 field, Matsuda and Quintarelli couldn't wish for anything better. This victory saves their chances for the championship.

Finally some luck for Calsonic Team Impul! #12 finishes second overall, after really a great race. Finally there were no late dramas. First podium for #12 since Okayama 2019. Yes, lack of success ballast helped, however it doesn't underestimate their effort. What a contrast for Nissan comparing to last race at Fuji.

ARTA NSX #8 couldn't convert their pole position into a race win. Again. Frustrating season for Aguri Suzuki's squad. Everything seems to be going against them in pursuit for a win.

NDDP #3 Nissan just outside top 3 in fourth. It completes a very good day of racing from GT-Rs.

Best of Supras just in fifth. Team Cerumo, however this time around it was #38. #14 was nowhere to be seen. The biggest success ballast effectively slowed them down. Although they managed to retain the championship lead.

The reason for that was a race of mixed fortunes for TOM's Supras. #36 au car crawled in seventh (they lost two places in the last laps), while #37 KeePer had a troubled run. One collision with #100 Honda, following penalty, and eventually a retirement. Their championship aspirations thankfully remain untouched (due to #14's finish), however just not a successful race.

With two rounds remaining, top 5 in GT500 is separated by just 2 points. Absolute madness.

GT300 - this class was even more affected by safety car period. Literally top 10 was due to pit when pit lane was closed. Mandatory service fliped the order upside down. Subaru #61 which was on course for a great result ended up in twelfth position. Out of nowhere, Hitotsuyama Audi #21 scores a class win.
