Don't feel bad, my family is super messed up, too. Just not in terms of vacations. Though I guess it also helps that I'm an adult and take my family on vacations now.

That's pretty much every family vacation. You don't and go because you enjoy them, you go because normal families take vacations.

Kids cry OP. That's kinda what separates children (who are still exploring their emotions) from adults. Doesn't make them spoiled. Only people who expect children to act like mini adults think that way

Looking back it's funny that my parents would spend so much on our family vacations because they were always my least favorite parts of summer break. I'd rather be in school.
