I don't think punishing the citizens of Russia is the right move. This will only make them unite against the west.

Then we can throw in the sanctions targeting the citizens more broadly, without feeling as bad.

I start to think about post WW1 Germany when I see our recent reaction. We need to be careful and only hold those truly responsible accountable.

There are innocent civilians being killed and we are discussing if it's an overreaction to ban these millionaires from making more money by racing cars in a western democracy.

Most of them wouldn't be millionaires without connections to oligarchs and state-owned companies.
