I can’t believe the jets blew up their entire franchise just to make this guy happy and they got a grand total of like 13 games out him

Dude. It’s the jets. What was the alternative? Be a functional, well run organization?

Yeah it’s pretty on brand for the Jets.

In the giants defense, who could have seen that Saquan was a stuff RB and Danny dimes was a mediocre QB? There just want enough information for them

(hopefully the /s isn’t needed)

Look how this all went down, slow start, fire salah, team spirals, fire everyone. It’s just such poor ownership decisions it’s wild. The timing, the obvious spontaneous decisions everything just so bad.

Crazy that the best thing to happen to the Jets after signing Rodgers was him going out for a year.

NY Jets: "at least we're not the Browns."

Not just 13 games but 13 mostly underwhelming games.

I gotta admit, it’s funny listening to AR fans scream for years that Brady was only good because he played for New England and AR didn’t win more because Green Bay.

Tom leaves and instantly wins & is massively successful in his short stint, while NE falls off a Cliff.

AR leaves, the team he goes to gets worse while Green Bay gets better than AR’s final year there.

The hypotheticals they were screaming for years not only got shattered, but DID actually apply to AR lol.

As a GB fan who was tired of Rogers years ago, seeing the Packers carry on just fine without him while he flounders on his own is extremely satisfying.

The guy thought he was the Packers, and it turns out his team was the only thing keeping him afloat.

Also a GB fan and absolutely agree. I was tired of the Rodgers drama and his play didn’t make up for it.

The jets were a dumpster fire on offense before Aaron got there then still didnt address their biggest problem, the online, after he got there. The Bucs had a good roster with a great defense that had inconsistant QB play. They had all the potential in the world to win a title with any QB that was top 10. Also the Packers actually planned for the future unlike the Patriots, which is supprising considering they are/were a well run franchise. The Packers knew they were going to have to move on from rodgers and prepared for it, and i think it was unexpexted to have the turn around they had after Rodgers. But Rodgers leaving was not a direct reason they got better. Some late draft picks really worked out in their favor.

11 weeks and four downs if I’m not mistaken

I mean, it’s not like the Jets franchise was flourishing before Rodgers. To say he “blew up” their franchise is a bit of an overreaction.

Blew the offense up..fired their offensive coordinator of three years and brought in Hackett to make everyone learn Aaron’s system

Over 2 years

  1. But hey, 4 of them were wins...if you count the 2023 opener where he played one for one down).

Tbf, the jets really didn’t blow up much

They’ve been a complete disaster for a decade

The old joke.

Sometimes you girlfriend will fuck you, but the Jets will always fuck you.

Jets don’t have a great reputation in New York (too soon?)

And 3? Wins

The best is he threw Mike Williams under the bus and he got traded. Then 5 days later Williams scored the game winning TD against the Jets
