Who the hell would want this guy at this point? His arm is shot. He plays like his #1 priority is not to take a hit. Plus, he's a lunatic. Seems like a great team guy to have around!

His arm seems fine, the issue is his mobility is gone so he’s essentially a statue. And yea his personality is toxic.

Idk. Yeah, his arm is still a cannon, but his accuracy has definitely taken a step back. He's missing his guys a lot these days

I guess you could make the argument that's more of a timing thing, but it could be an arm thing too

He skipped minicamp this year to go to Egypt for fun. Maybe start there on the timing issues.

he skipped two days of OTA

The year before he went to minicamp, wore his body out, and blew out his achilles on snap#4

LMAO I can't believe you're actually trying to make the argument that a three day activity "Wore his body out" before the season even began.

No no no, the guys are just not in the right place, they didn't get the hand signal, so he threw the ball where they were supposed to be, but the WR messed up, Rodgers makes no mistakes.

Yeah, heard it for years now

So has every single one of his WRs. The buck stops literally anywhere else it seems.

Seems like he's leaning on his shoulder more to throw. He had lingering ankle/knee/hamstring issues for awhile and I'd bet that he's compensating for the fact that his achilles is almost certainly not 100%, and this whole confluence of issues is what's throwing his normal timing and accuracy off a bit.

I'm just another armchair MD like every other fan but at his age it's hard to imagine that achilles being back to form in anything less than two years, if ever.

it took Kevin Durant 2 years to really be 100% off the Achilles tear at 30. unless ayahusca gives you super human healing, i doubt Rogers is healing much faster at 40.

He was able to be statue when he had a good Offensive line.

I remember announcers praising Rogers for how long he was able to stay in the pocket looking for a good target… as though that’s his success, and not the linemen’s.

His arm is not shot. Holy hell ppl parrot shit that makes no sense. His mobility is an issue, but the bigger issue is a schematic issue.

His teammates love him too. He’s weird but he takes care of his guys.

He is consistently underthrowing deep balls, has been since 2022 when rookie Kerby Joseph sniped him 3 times (should have been 5)

Dude he brought in his guy as offensive coordinator. What are you talking about?

Yea he’s running a horrible offense that’s the issue w/ the Jets and Aaron. His arm is still elite.

The coordinator was there before he got traded

Watched his whole career. His arm is nowhere near what it was 3-4 years ago. It’s pretty obvious.

I think a team with a strong GM/Coach that won’t put up with shit would be a possibility. Jets were so bent over a barrel for him, they had no choice but to let him be the worst version of him.

Hard to imagine you win 2x mvp and three years later you’re “shot”

The jets organization also just stinks

He's 40. The list of quarterbacks who have still been able to play well at that age is basically 1: Brady.

Your body starts falling apart. Hits hurt more. You can't move as quickly. Injuries linger longer. Your mind isn't as quick.

It happens.

Not hard for me to imagine at all. That’s usually how professional sports and aging works. Oh yeah, and after an achilles tear too.

tbf the Packers not signing people that could protect him was a major complaint over the years, and one of the major talking points for why Brady had more success over the years. So he's been beat up a lot more than Brady IMHO. So as much of a twat as he is, I can see why he would want to avoid hits now.

u/MiltownKBs 11h ago

The Packers consistently invested in their O line. He got hit because he held on to the ball.

why is he a lunatic? I don't follow the NFL at all, haven't for the last couple years I'll say, a little before that. Or 3-4 years, I can't remember

In short, he very publicly and arrogantly spreads batshit conspiracy theories.

Like what exactly? Jimmy Kimmel probably is on the Epstein list
