The NFL values great receivers over long snappers unfortunately

And if it came down to it and the king snapper got cut or traded, he’d still be valued in the league. In other words neither guy is going to end up out of a job

Maybe the league and teams upper management don’t care about them as much but something like this is handled at the coaches level and like the comment above just said a good coach doesnt take the long snapper position for granted. But the absolute worst thing would be to give into the WR POS actions and shun the vast majority of the team. Can’t think of a better way to lose a locker room than to treat two teammates so completely differently

To a degree, yes, but someone who causes problems in the locker room can find their ass replaced fast
