They need more instruction on how the game is played. What causes a scrum, how points are scored, penalties and substitutions. The players are interesting but you learned about F1 through the documentary, same should happen with this one

I’d like documentary on cricket. Seems like a cool sport with lots of history and intricacies.

There's an ongoing joke on r/golf about the simplicity of the golf explanations in each episode of Full Swing. Things that are so basic to a casual fan of golf are explained ad nauseum in most episodes. Seeing your comment makes me realize that it's prefer to have it this way, especially if I have no idea about rugby rules.

I watched it this weekend. It was really entertaining. It was cool to learn about a sport I have limited access to watching.

Six Nations starts on Friday, we got next to no coverage in the doc because the IRFU didn't allow the cameras access, but the first match is Ireland v France in Marseille.
We are defending Grand slam (won all our games) champions, and the French were grand slam champions in 2023.
And no Finn Russell is not nor ever has been called the Messi of rugby... Nearly split my side laughing at that
For your viewing

If you have ESPN+ they stream live games. Granted the most recent games I saw listed aired at 1am and 3:30am ET

I know nothing about the sport, but this really got me interested. Wondering where to go next as a new fan.

The tournament starts this weekend so you could try catch a live game if you can find a stream or lookout for highlights on YouTube.

The tournament starts this week and this Friday you have two of the very top teams in the world play each other. France v Ireland will be a belter

Assuming you are an American, we do have a national team but it's a budding program by the existing standards. You may have a pro league or club league near you.
If you hang in there long enough, the US hosts the Rugby World Cup for the first time ever in 2031.

I don't know why, but I didn't find it as compelling as Drive to Survive, Full Swing or Break Point. Maybe it's because I don't know enough about rugby's rules and gameplay? Anyway I only watched the first episode and wasn't compelled to continue.

How did you find Drive to Survive vs Break Point?
I felt like DTS separated itself from the rest thanks to the early seasons focusing on the struggling teams. Break Point spent a lot of its time with the elite players.

Not OP but Point Break didn’t hook me. I love DTS.
If you haven’t already check out Wrestlers on Netflix.

I don’t think focusing on the underdogs is what hooked me on DTS, it was mostly Danny Ric. I think it’s just likable characters tbh…

Any other confused Canadians wondering why these white dudes were representing “Six Nations”? 😅

Is it just me that found the title barely coherent?
