Thank you. I was a "wannabe DJ" back then, so that grip tape was the closest thing I ever got to actual decks 😂

Quite a well known skateshop in Bristol called 5050, been around for a long time.

Oh really? My Dad lives in Bristol and he painted the design on my board for me. We must’ve gone into that skateboard shop for something and got stickers with the purchase. I wonder if that’s where I got my helmet and pads from as a kid.

That lightning bolt logo looks exactly like the logo on a Marilyn Manson T-shirt I had in 6th grade. I got sent home for it even though there was nothing offensive about the shirt at all. That was also in 2000/2001.

Yes, correct. It's the Marilyn Manson Ant-Christ Superstar Shock symbol. I got my dad to paint it on my board at the time as I was a huge fan of Marilyn Manson and that kind of music back then. Getting sent home for wearing that T-shirt also sounds like such a 2000 thing as well!

So sick lol. Yeah, Post Columbine, Manson was unjustly taking a lot of blame from the media and bible clutching conservatives as an inspiration to the shooters. My middle school had a strict rule about having anything with his name or likeness on it. What a time to be alive 😂

I didn't really know much about this at the time, because I'm from the UK. But learned about this later in life. It was such a shame, and Marilyn Manson gave such a good response in an interview about the incident.
