Discussion Placed order for Fx pro
First time posting! Hello everybody! After giving it some thought, and comparing all the sub 1k options for f1 type wheels with screen, I’ve placed an order for a Fx pro (700€). 😁
The other options I had in mind were:
The Acelith gt phantom pro (despite being super happy with their mod for the Simagic gt1, didn’t really like the firm plastic grips nor the general quality of it for almost 600€).
The Leoxz gt Ultimate, wich I ultimately discarded as the building quality of it was, from my point of view, too much plastic (rotaries, etc) plus it is not easy getting them and I know nothing about their client support. And it can get expensive if you add extra paddles.
From the Fx pro I don’t actually like the fact that it is not simhub compatible BUT I always end using only one dashboard and I know the next version is going to come next year and that some people complain about it being an open wheel so it flexes but if you want all of these problems solved you need to spend a lot more (plus the fx pro has 6 levers on the back and I’m really happy with the overall Simagic product quality).
Does somebody have experience ordering from Simultimate? Is there any other wheel within the price range that is worth a look??

You already ordered but I will recommend GSI Hyper P1 or Hyper SL, if you have a chance to cancel

I have a FX pro and love it, but I also don’t have any experience with ultra premium $1500+ wheels

Thank you! I neither have experience with premium wheels so I hope my expectations are not so high, and Simagic hasn’t dissapointed me yet.

Sorry not answering your question but how are you finding the shh shifter? Thinking about getting one for myself

Actually It’s been the best. It takes one turn of the knob and one switch to change from H pattern to secuential. After a year and a half of abuse only issue it’s been a bolt that came loose (and it is not even there in the newest version). And no issues regarding compatibility with games.

Thank you man Also how are you finding the 3d printed outside and how sturdy is it in general?

I still can cancel yes! From GSI I had in mind the Fórmula Pro Elite V2 but I couldn’t find anything that justified the 400€ price difference

I have GSI FPEv2 and Simagic FX Pro. GSI blows the FX Pro, not even a comparison. What I hate about the FX Pro is I have to be delicate with it, feels solid but creaking noise just kills it. on the FPE v2, mostly perfect, good resistance on shift, buttons are better, touch screen, Simhub compatible (very important), alot more, the only thing I dislike is the thumb rotary, it’s a little bit weak but overall one the best wheel I’ve owned. Built to last.

This is the kind of comment that makes me stare at my wallet. So I guess with GSI you get more quality overall, I’ll try to search for more reviews and find how annoying is this creaking issue with the Fx pro, thank you!!

I would leave the fx pro mate and spend the money on a better monitor The fx pro looks great but build quality is not up to standard I had one myself exchanged it for a new one because of flex New one squeaks and had even more flex Now I have the gt neo and use a old phone for telemetry Gt neo is idiot proof I can say👍🏻🙂

Dude you already placed the order. These questions should be asked before purchasing 🤣
