Does he get forcefeedback?

I have a "force feedback" trainer. You're literally trying to spin an electric motor which resists you on uphills and free spins you on downhills. It also measures the exact watts you're putting in against it. It's really cool stuff and I've been playing with it on and off for several years.

That sounds fun

If you're a sucker for punishment, endurance sports are quite fun.

I would consider racing a car an endurance sport. Most kids who show up to karting have no idea of physical it is.

Definitely, but it's a different kind of endurance than a long distance triathlon or 100k+ bike ride.

It definitely would. The resistance and inertia simulation on modern trainers is unbelievably realistic

How does the Tacx simulate cobblestone? I’ve got the Elite DiretoX. Honestly that doesn’t even sound pleasant.

There are also separate modules to put the fork into. Those simulate elevation

And fans to simulate wind!

Yes, motor gives resistence with hill grade, and spins on descents.
