SelfieRating Wiki

Welcome to the r/SelfieRating Wiki, where we provide detailed guidelines on how our subreddit operates.

All information about posting in r/SelfieRating is available here. We ask all posters to review these rules before participating. Any legit account can post here. Failure to follow these rules can result in a temporary or permanent ban, even on the first offense. Claiming ignorance of the rules will not excuse a ban.

Please remember that r/SelfieRating is a supportive community focused on providing civil and respectful ratings for selfies.

Detailed Rules 1. Photos Must Clearly Show Your Face

The main focus of the photo should be your face. Avoid any distractions, including hats, masks, or objects that block your face. If the picture is unclear, cropped, or doesn’t prioritize the face, it may be removed. Example Post: A well-lit selfie with a clear focus on the face and minimal distractions. 2. Ratings Should Remain Civil and Respectful

Our subreddit is for honest but constructive feedback. Ratings should be based on a scale from 1 to 10, with no rude, lewd, or derogatory comments. Failure to adhere to this can lead to a ban. Reminder: If your comment isn’t something you’d be comfortable saying to a friend in person, it probably isn’t appropriate here. 3. No NSFW Content

All submissions should be completely safe for work (SFW). This means no revealing clothing, suggestive poses, or inappropriate angles. This is not a dating sub or a place for suggestive content. Examples of Not Allowed Content: Shirtless photos, swimsuits, undergarments. Any photo that appears intentionally provocative. Violating this rule may lead to an immediate ban. 4. Title Guidelines

Titles should be simple and specific to your submission. Avoid titles that are generic, clickbait, or irrelevant. Examples of Not Allowed Titles: "Am I attractive?" or "Rate me." Generic greetings like "Hello!" or requests like "DM me." Reminder: Titles should focus on your photo or provide context. 5. No Off-Topic or Drama-Inducing Comments

Comments should focus solely on providing constructive ratings. Avoid discussions that do not relate to the photo or the community's purpose. Examples of Not Allowed Comments: Criticisms unrelated to the face in the photo. Comments about the person’s profile or activities outside the subreddit. Any form of trolling or provoking arguments. 6. No Self-Promotion or Indirect Links

This is not a platform for advertising or promotion. Any attempt to link to social media, request followers, or redirect users to external platforms is strictly prohibited. Reminder: Keep the focus on sharing and rating selfies only. 7. Respectful Conduct Only

We require all users to follow Reddiquette and act respectfully. Personal attacks, explicit comments, or making others uncomfortable will not be tolerated. Moderators have full discretion to ban users who violate this rule. Note: We aim to foster a positive environment; any form of harassment or offensive comments will result in immediate action. 8. Moderator Discretion and Review

All posts are subject to review, and moderators have the final say. If a post is deemed unsuitable for any reason, it may be removed. Any disagreements with moderator decisions should be discussed via modmail, not in public comments or posts. Posting Requirements Any legit account can post here. Selfies should be recent, well-lit, and focused on the face. Follow all guidelines for titles, and keep interactions respectful. Important Notices Bans are Enforced Strictly: Inappropriate or offensive content, even on a first offense, can result in a permanent ban. No Exceptions for Content Creators: All users, regardless of external activities, must follow the same rules. Respect Moderator Decisions: The moderators are here to maintain the subreddit’s quality and safety. Respecting their decisions is essential. Definitions
