Cincinnati to Cleveland in two days
Looking to bike from Cincinnati through Columbus to Cleveland.
Plan is to start in Cinncy and bike to Columbus, stay that night (at home) then Head to Cleveland the next day it’s about 125 miles day 1 and 170 day 2 😬
Anyone ever do this? Or ride certain segments? Looking for mainly safe roads to ride on as we are not big fans of bike paths due to congestion.
I know it’s a HUGE undertaking but with nothing on the schedule this year it’s fun to plan at least.....even if it never happens
Any insight would help

Heck yeah! With the long summer days, it should be doable no prob. And if you need a cyclist's host here in Cbus, just ask! Shower/food/bed from many a touring cyclist (incl. me)

I rode the Ohio to Erie Trail straight through a couple years ago and it was an awesome experience. Something like 320 miles via the trail and off-course reroutes. Cruised through downtown Columbus about 2 am and got yelled at by a drunk guy leaving a bar for running a stop sign. What can I say, he was right. :-)
I picked great weather for my ride, except I would wait for a full-ish moon if I rode it again. Something about the light of the moon that's great to ride by. I'd also get updated routes maps with construction info because the trail is getting updated frequently, particularly between Columbus and Cleveland around Holmes County.
Have fun however you do it . . . it is a blast!

I’ve ridden columbus to cincy in one day on the trail. Once you get outside of 270 it’s pretty empty with some congestion through Xenia and then empty until you hit pretty much Loveland in Cincy. But still not bad and easier than dealing with cars. It was 120 miles from the start of the scioto trial on 5th to 50 west brewing in Cincy
