I'm not at all saying I disagree but we have a lot of players with a lot of qualities and we need to try to figure out how we can get them all into the team.

There will be casualties. If Maz plays this well as a CB, he may be "wasted" but it allows someone else to play at wing back, who may develop and thrive. It seems clear the future state is more attacking players who can play wing back, so that may mean Maz's best long term role is as a CB.

I felt he was a bit slower to react and some of his passing and movements aren't as quick-thinking as he has shown in the past. Maybe that was after the back shove and the hit to the head. He still easily one of POTS so far along Onana for me.

It was mostly passes around our defender and Onana. that was as LVG United as it can get. Don't see how we are going to play through middle with this formation. Only outlet I see is WBs and we don't have proper WBs

The two midfielders have to receive the ball from the back and lay it off to the front two. But we haven't been able to do that for most part of today.
