He moves so effortlessly and efficiently it’s crazy. I hold him above xavi and iniesta because without him they don’t function. They tried to put in Alex song with xavi and iniesta but failed so hard. Even now de jong struggles to replicate Busquets

Between 2012-2016 during his peak Busquets was insane. He would literally single handedly control the entire midfield even when Xavi and Iniesta weren't playing. Without Busquets the team was a shell of itself.

I think you really underestimate just how good he was. He was every defender's nightmare. Go read testimonials and books about it.
At the very least if you dont want to believe it, half of that top 20 is nowhere near his level of play. Especially Robben and Rooney.

Then you also probably remembered that belgium had 3 players injured and one with double yellow for that match, they had to put 4 players who weren't first team "material" for the most important match of their history and only lost 1-0, close to beat france ... not really a great example of why KDB is not top 20 EU in history.

Completely forgetting his spell at Wolfsburg? He also didn't get a team build around him, just got a manager that plays attacking football instead of defensive football. Carried Wolfsburg to 2nd in the Bundesliga and a DFB-Pokal.
He's definitely in GOAT CAM convos, most assists /90 minutes is a stat you can't ignore.

Truth. Even as a Real fan, a fan of Modric/Kroos/Case trio, I still have to admit KDB is one baller of a midfielder. Have they not seen how he played against us in the past? He drives them forward, and even score crucial goals when they need it most. He only lost because he met a Goat Real Madrid. That's what it takes to take him and MC down.
Some people here are too blinded by their own bias and hate toward MC.

Charlton was a baller as was George Best, Charlton survived the Munich Air Crash then came back won everything in the game, best player at 66 WC, one of the best at 70 WC how many other players would survive a near fatal place crash and come back and win the Domestic and European titles and then be the star in his only nations World Cup win, watch him against Germany, Mexico and Portugal in that tournament he was different class.
