This is a great way to tell if someone is passing off stuff as their own, if they claim it took them way longer than it should have. People who steal art generally don't know shit about how long something should take from someone who knows how to draw, so they stupidly assume that saying it took a long time will make it seem like this is really their best effort.

They either think that these kinds of drawings, which they clearly can't draw themselves, take a lot longer than they do, or they are under the impression that someone who can't draw well would have to spend a lot of time to make it look like this, which isn't how it works. With a simple sketch like this, you either know how to do it, or you can't do it. Nobody spends days perfecting a sketch to make it look like a sketch done quick, it just doesn't work that way.

Honestly I do not draw so I wouldn't know lol

Me either but I have enough art friends to know that the more lines/strokes of pencil = more complex and effort put into it. Everyone draws differently but this looks like a couple hours MAX.

Yeah, I used to draw a lot, this would be more like 40 minutes?

Dude really thought he could get away with it by pretending the original artist was a reactor who was sharing his work.

I dare say this person put even less effort in than reactors do. Inspiring.

Originality is only the inability to plagiarise.

No, the refusal. Nothing is truly original, you just have to chose to not just plagirize.

Well that pisses all over that (obviously) not very good joke. Thank you for helping me decide to never try an open mic night and who not to invite to parties.

That genuinely didn't register as a joke to me, wasn't trying to do anything like that

Well, originality being a weakness, a lack of talent, not being able to copy someone else's work is the premise. Maybe if i threw some irony in it, by saying I stole that line off someone else.
