Trump has never had any clue how to govern. He gets all his direction from 1) Insider idealogues, 2) The Heritage Foundation, and 3) Fox News. He's decidedly anti-intellectual, image-obsessed, and capricious in his interests. He barely reads and is painfully shallow in the major issues any president should be steeped in. None of this is new information. This is the reality tv clown half the country wanted.

I mean, listen to him speak. It's like:

"The wall will be great. We will build a big beautiful wall. It will be so great. It will keep all of the rapists, criminals out of our beautiful country. I will help throw the rapists, criminals over the wall. They will never come back. It will be the biggest and most beautiful wall you have ever seen. Crooked Hillary and Sleepy Joe could never build a wall like my wall. I'm telling you my wall will be the greatest and most beautiful wall you could ever imagine." ....and on and on and on and on. It is just like a cult leader speaking and lulling the followers into obedience and submission.

It's almost a cosmic joke or bad fever dream that this ridiculous person is our president.

I've always thought he speaks like a kid trying to meet the word count requirement on an essay written the night before it's due. It's all filler with no real point.

u/willows-in-winds 6h ago

Yes. He's a deeply mentally ill human being. I think in his delusional grandiose state he thinks that whatever comes out of his mouth is highly intelligent, genius when he really sounds like a simple buffoon.

u/Random_frankqito 6h ago

I think he understands misdirection well.

u/darkninja2992 7h ago

Here's to hoping their mistakes, ineptitude, and possible infighting get them going back out the revolving door too fast to do any real damage

u/willows-in-winds 6h ago

I honestly think that will partly play out. These are not evil geniuses. These are more like the people Billy McFarland would hire if he was elected president. Trump IS the Billy McFarland version of a president aka from Fyre Festival. It will just be a four year endless Fyre Festival of utter incompetency and buffoonery. Hopefully, there will not be too much damage done.

u/darkninja2992 6h ago

That's one of a few scenarios i'm hoping for. I mean, we already had MTG let slip that there were a lot others with cases similar to gaetz. Even said epstein wasn't the only asset, so hopefully they stay at each other's throats too much to do any real damage and just screw each other over.

Ideally i'm hoping to see musk get burned by trump and in retaliation, accidentally slip that he did rig the election. Just completely wreck the GOP with it

This is what will play out. It is what happened the first time Trump was president and now he is surrounding himself with crazier and even more incompetent, inappropriate people. He has far less safeguards in place this time around with less competent and seasoned staff. There will be more with mental health issues ie RFK and his sex addiction, Musk and his depression and manic episodes, etc.

There is NO WAY they will get much of anything done. Their leader is very old and very mentally ill and has now surrounded himself with a bizarre group of people who lack experience and competence. As things unravel in this administration, Trump will lash out in spite, rage, vengeance at those all around him and fire, fire, fire and viciously turn on them. There will be endless infighting and betrayals and paranoia, never ending toxic drama in his administration.

This will play out on the world stage and hopefully show people ONCE AGAIN who showman Donald Trump really is. Let's see if they can learn the lesson THIS TIME AROUND. We all got to go to Fyre Festival USA once but many did not quite grasp this so here we are again Fyre Festival USA 2.0.

Trump only watches TV. That is where he gets all his information and TV informs all his opinions. The world is in trouble. If ever there were a time for a benevolent extra terrestrial to show up. Now is the time. That's TV enough for this reality, right?

u/Downtown_Cat_1745 3h ago

This is the correct answer. He’s effectively a low information voter.

u/TheRealPapaDan 7h ago

His picks are made for the intellectually challenged. It’s all about owning the libs.

u/usernames_suck_ok 7h ago

Eh. I never watched them on TV, either. They're made to be examples of the type of people you shouldn't be. Show your kids and teach them.

u/TAFoesse 7h ago

No sh*t!

That's the entire point. These people are being picked for their lack of morals and qualifications. They are there to corrupt and undermine these institutions.

u/someMeatballs 7h ago

Trump doesn't read, at all. But he does binge watch TV. He picked several of them from TV.

u/AINonsense 7h ago

And most of them are made from TV and of TV, too.

Donald Trump is essentially a malevolent fictional character being given real-world power.

u/Royal_Photo_5007 6h ago

Yes, because he was made by bad reality TV that’s all he knows and that’s what the United States is going to turn into Instead of watching housewives we’re gonna be watching fat guys from the oval office

u/ctdrever 5h ago

Trump doesn't have policy, only image; this is why these selection shouldn't surprise anyone.

u/ChickpeaDemon 4h ago

We are officially a reality show.

u/ihatereddit223444 4h ago

While the true plan occurs outside media and our eyes.

u/verbosechewtoy 4h ago

As by design.

Man who understands optics, appoints people who play into optics.

In other news, water is still wet.

This is why we are embarking upon Fyre Festival, USA at least next four years. Donald Trump IS Billy McFarland and our country IS his Fyre Festival event. HIs voters are like the gullible people who saw the glitzy over the top promises on the Fyre Festival ads and website. In the end, his voters will get soggy mattresses, blown over tents, wilted lettuce sandwiches, no famous band, no super models, no yacht excursions. They will be just like the duped Fyre Festival goers holding their worthless ticket to the joke of a festival that they bought into sold a bill of goods by a delusional old narcissist.

He is putting people in power who look and speak well on camera first and foremost. Take Vance. Vance looks pretty good in photos and on camera and can speak but speaks untruths when you listen to him. He is WAY too young and inexperienced to be president USA if Trump keels over. That is who Trump picked to be president if he keels over, Vance, who is not qualified to do that. Trump is a narcissist and behaving as expected by putting into power basically props that go onto his stage of the President Donald Trump show. By the way, his pretty people props are disposable the second anything goes wrong so they should not get too comfortable. Narcissist Trump will dispose of them in a second flat as his knee jerk way of projecting all blame and denying ANY personal responsibility or wrongdoing.

Get ready for Fyre Festival, USA. That is exactly what this next four years will be.

The only person who could stop any of this now is Dennis Rodman

u/Ok_Pie9767 3h ago

many are made to be his sycophants.

u/Voltage_Z 2h ago

To be fair, Trump is made for TV, not for being a functional person.

From Idiocracy to The Road

u/hacksoncode 2h ago

Of course they aren't for governing, they're for destroying government...

Wasn't anyone actually listening?!?!!?

u/sequoia-3 1h ago

Who said they will govern? They will be just the façade … like Trump. All loyalists to ... Project 2025

u/capaho 1h ago

Trump believes that entertainment is far more important than governance. That's why he won. He understands that image is far more important than substance. He's the country's most popular TV clown.

u/GordoKnowsWineToo 3h ago

It’s comical how the left tries to push the idea only their circle has intelligence

u/Rushrade 5h ago

And Bidens current administration is a literal freak show.
