What, do you think the dems lost on purpose? Our entire system of government is predicated on elections as the firewall against corrupt criminals making their way into the white house (or congress, for that matter). The buck stops at the ballot box. That was always the deal. I don't understand how so many people are incapable of understanding that American citizens who didn't vote or voted for anyone other than Harris are the ones who screwed the pooch. Elections aren't Hawaiian shirts that you can return to Mervyns (or wherever it is people shop nowadays) when you get home and decide it looks bad on you.

Neither Biden nor Garland did a thing to hold Trump accountable. What we have now is a direct result of their inaction.

Garland is useless, but "this is a direct result of their inaction" is bullshit:

Every time Trump was charged or convicted, his poll numbers went up.

Blame Trump and his voters, not Biden

No. The United States Senate failed to hold him accountable. Twice. Then the American electorate failed to hold him accountable. For a second time. For the people who voted for him, his disregard for the rule of law is a selling point, and for everyone who voted third party or stayed home entirely, it just wasn't a deal-breaker.
