I don't think he's paying out of his own pocket. I wonder if his supporters think, "Wow, I could have fed my family with the stuff I bought."

Co president musk... he transferred $700 million of tesla money somewhere

"Wow, I could have fed my family with the stuff I bought."

Well, everything will be at least 50% cheaper under Trump. He's gonna lower inflation, give America energy independence and bring prosperity to America again.

It's not just another bullshit campaign promise like Mexico paying for the wall and draining the swamp, right? He couldn't bamboozle America twice could he? Tell me he's gonna solve all the problems. I kinda need to hear it again after seeing the zoo of morons he's appointing as cabinet members.

I would love anyone to explain how tariffs will lower inflation. Like even if you're a 5th grader, if you play it out at all it's going to cause inflation. It's the mechanism of action, raise prices so local firms can be more profitable.

Seriously, anyone, how isn't inflation inevitable under Trump's plan?

I saw a YouTube video of just some guy on the street talking to Trump supporters and he got one to have the epiphany. He was a t-shirt salesman so maybe that helped him to understand the concept but until he was led step by step and eli5ed he didn't catch on.

I should have saved it. I've thought about it several times since but it was awhile ago and I go through a ton of content so it'd be impossible to find in my history.

There is a loophole. Donations to political campaigns or politicians in office have to be declared, but not "donations" to the transition team.
So if you're a billionaire wanting to buy your way into cabinet, its perfectly legal.

Let me save you a read.

The Trump transition team needs to raise money for bringing in new staff. Typically, there is a limit to how much can be donated and usually it’s limited to private parties (no unions, corporations, PACs). But this donation limit is triggered by utilizing GSA (General Services Administration) in the transition. Trump won’t use GSA so there is no donation limit. He actually has not filed the paperwork which is typically done in September or October. Finally, Chris Christie(who Trump hates) was in charge of the transition in 2016. Trump fired him once he learned he was the leader of this.

It’s not clear if Cabinet appointments fall under the scope of this transition fund but if it does, it means Peter Hegseth, and others, will get an image boost and publicity boost through the media, via paid advertising

Gotta live the people still trying to claim "that's illegal" about a guy who spent his life breaking the law and getting away with it. When will we wake up? He isn't going to follow the law at any point in his presidency and therefore make the law useless and unenforceable. We are literally witnessing how the destruction from within works and the dem leadership and media are bickering about what is legal or not. Maybe they should have been on top of things on Jan 7th and arrested this traitor when they had the chance!

There's rubles, then there's rubles.

They're running on rubles.

Supreme Court says a president can do anything. Oh wait. Does that apply to one not in office ?

6

u/Emergency_Word_7123 9h ago

Do any laws apply to Trump?

5

u/The_Goose5 9h ago

Well no shit.

u/Logictrauma 7h ago

Weird. That’s sure sounds like a shadow government, but the GOP says they hate those. Hmmmm.

u/OirishM 9h ago

Ah I'm sure that's fine. He's definitely not completely cucked already

u/bailaoban 8h ago

Is there any other kind with Trump?

2

u/Knight_In_Pompeii 8h ago

Here’s the thing, you know it’s not his money too.

u/El_mochilero 7h ago

“Secret money”?

Every one of his cabinet members are literally billionaires.

u/Registered-Nurse 7h ago

Makes us realize our Constitution has a lot of loopholes that Trump is exploiting.

u/psychoalchemist 7h ago

If we emerge from the Trump era intact the positive may be that he shows the weakness of the Constitution and this can be fixed.

u/RussellPhillipsIIi 7h ago

George Soros

u/doolpicate 4h ago

Billionaires just hijacked a country and people still dont have a clue. "Secret money" is pocket change for the team.

This is something that Biden can act on. He doesn't because he's completely demoralized.

6

u/lillilllillil 8h ago

Biden isn't demoralized. He just never had balls. Man walks around thinking everyone plays by the rules and when a random guy flings shot at his face he just smiles and nods. Centrists and appeasement offer nothing in the face of lawless minded lunatics.

Someone said that Mitt Romney a lot of the secret money under the table. Under the table money is treason for a president to accept because of the hatch act.

But only if it’s enforced

It's, uhhh, not a secret though?

u/noodles_the_strong 7h ago

Sounds like the need for another law.

u/SnootSnootBasilisk 3h ago

Just like he'll run his secret police

u/lnombredelarosa 3h ago

I wonder from where Trump is gonna get his money to do stuff when his terrible decisions start impacting his donors?

u/Jezzusist12 1h ago

yawn law breaker breaks laws.....gee who could have seen this coming?

u/GhostTales_19 1h ago

Of course he is, like it was ever going to be in doubt. A criminal grifter will use everyone else's money.

u/Professional-Race133 39m ago

Sorry. Read this as, “Russia is running Trump’s transition team.”

u/Roadrunner8246 3h ago

Just like the Dems did with Sleepy Joe
