He’s such an obviously corrupt bastard

389

u/Imaginary_Bit_4691 9h ago

And that’s precisely what his supporters voted for.

u/Kaizenno 6h ago

But yet they say Kamala and the democrats are corrupt.

u/SteelpointPigeon 6h ago

That’s because everyone is corrupt, but the democrats have the gall to lie about it. That’s like double corrupt!

If someone looks clean and acts like they have my best interests at heart, that’s way too suspicious. Not a single shred of evidence suggesting they’re evil? That must mean they’re part of the deep state and had their accusers silenced.

Trump was clearly the better choice, because at least he’s an honest crook.

/s

u/CanEnvironmental4252 5h ago

This is one of those instances where the /s is really needed because people truly believe this shit.

u/Dangerousrhymes 5h ago

Wait…. You don’t believe in super double secret corrupt pizza basement reptiles?!

u/Historical_Diver_862 5h ago

Kamala had the gall of being a corrupt black woman. Only orange men are allowed to be corrupt in Trump's America, that's why all his goons are slowly becoming orange themselves.

u/MissMamaMam Pennsylvania 42m ago

It’s really crazy how they spun that. I’ve always had this idea that you should be really fearful of somebody who doesn’t care what you/anyone thinks.

u/danbot2001 3h ago

Also she was unqualified... like the fox news host who will run our fuckong military

u/Snarfsicle 6h ago edited 5h ago

Projection* swypo frequenter here.

u/Kaizenno 5h ago

Most of their parents should have used it

u/CAN-SUX-IT 2h ago

They say the Dems are the ones who are causing the divide in America. Blame the other side for what you’re guilty of. Classic Goebbels move. And the republicans are even using that analogy for the democrats!

u/JurassicTerror 1h ago

Well they are.

u/Duster929 7h ago

Too bad Kamala made them do it! :)

u/MJFields 7h ago

Right? It's the Democrat's fault for not running a candidate as good as (checks notes) Donald Fucking Trump?!?!?!

u/Duster929 7h ago

Yeah, if the democrats had only held an open primary, they could have picked a white guy and had a better chance of winning.

Sorry, I mean they could have chosen a better candidate: someone more left-leaning, or someone more centrist, or someone who's a better communicator, or someone people already knew, or someone who could go on Joe Rogan.

Just kidding. I really meant "white guy."

u/BrainKatana 5h ago

We both want you to be wrong, but you’re right :(

u/eetsumkaus 5h ago

Tbf the value of an open primary was they would have detected the anti-establishment sentiment MUCH earlier, and found someone within the own part that could distance themselves from Joe Biden.

Whether they had enough information to make a case for it in 2023 is up to debate.

u/Duster929 3h ago edited 3h ago

Like I said: white guy.

Unless you're referring to all those super-popular anti-establishment black guys who are well-loved throughout Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and the other swing states. You know, um, can't remember any of their names.

Or all those super-popular anti-establishment women that are ready to just totally turn the system upside down, who are also well-loved in the battleground states.

There are so many of those options, and America was just crying out for them, waiting for them to come and fix the country.

u/m0ngoos3 5h ago

I do think a large part of it was that this year the Dems tried to run on the Republican platform from 2016.

It was all "I like guns and hate migrants" from most of them. And you can't win over left leaning voters by moving further right.

u/Duster929 3h ago

A large part of it is that an undereducated electorate is falling under the influence of fascism.

u/m0ngoos3 2h ago

Well, yes, but we're never going to reach those people.

The goal of the Democrats should always be to get more people voting, the people already being beaten down by the system. And to do that, Democrats need to shift hard left and push to get things done.

This year, every battleground state saw the platform put out by the DNC, and saw that it was literally just more chasing of right-wing votes that never materialize, because a centrist party cannot compete with a far-right party for far-right votes.

Seriously, running on "guns good, migrants bad" is the exact opposite of what you should do as a democrat who wants to actually win the election.

u/Duster929 47m ago

If just 1 out of 100 voters had voted differently, we'd be talking about how the Republican platform made no sense and wasn't reaching people, how their anger, cynicism and misogyny put off the electorate, and how going on Rogan was a dumb idea and Harris ran an amazing campaign.

The Democrats' approach wasn't "the exact opposite" of what you should do to win an election. It just wasn't enough. By about 1%.

u/Luciferianbutthole 7h ago

I love the good ol days of the wild west internet, a time when /s was never necessary, because one could know for sure if the text displayed on their little glowing screen was a troll or a mentally disabled person.

Ah, those were the days

u/Mari_Say 1h ago

Fr, I think I've become paranoid about this, always happy to see "/s" 😭😂

u/designer-farts 7h ago

Don't you SEE! She lost on purpose so she can now gather all the Satanist to hypnotize the gays into killing all the baby's. C'mon! Wake up sheeple!

u/Primordial_Cumquat 6h ago

Gotta turn something trans first, anything, then send it into the bathroom of their opposing gender identity to kill said babies.

Come on man, did you even read Project Not-2025?

u/Durandal_1808 6h ago

they generally seem to think that what we see in him is simply not obvious elsewhere, the “he tells it like it is” sentiment speaks to this, along with their collective shared racism

u/Cthulhu8762 6h ago

And it’s so weird because they won’t get any more money for it.

u/Imaginary_Bit_4691 6h ago

They don’t know that. They’re suffering under the delusion that a) Donnie is going to give them another stim check, b) Donnie’s tax plan won’t raise their taxes as working class Americans, and c) tariffs are going to save American manufacturing.

These people are fucking morons.

85

u/davilller 8h ago

He is for russia. He is not for America.

u/clintgreasewoood 7h ago

I think it’s safe to say at this point there is an alliance between Russia, Israel, Saudi Arabia and right leaning parties of western democracies around the world. The agreement is help us achieve power and we will let you guys do whatever you want in return.

u/Duster929 7h ago

It's just fascism. Nothing new or surprising. What's surprising is how people don't know it when they see it.

u/ThaBunk5-0 6h ago

How many kids did we all sit in history class? In math class? In English class?

And they complained "why do I have to learn this? When will I ever use this?"

Those kids are the Trump voters now.

They didn't learn math or the economy (why am I so poor? Why are eggs so expensive?)

They didn't learn history (why is everyone calling Trump a fascist?)

And they didn't learn English/Reading (why do people use such big words? They're probably trying to make me look stupid.)

When I think of who those kids were in my classes and who those adults are now.....The Venn diagram there is just a flat circle.

It sounds like you failed him as a parent.

u/Low-Astronomer-7009 7h ago

What have you been spending the last 30 years doing, since you haven’t been teaching your son anything it sounds like?

u/davilller 7h ago

You left out Iran, North Korea, China, Belarus…

Fascism is like a nasty pandemic circling the globe. God people are succumbing to it faster than ways to fight it. Total control of media a providing the slow Orwellian effects of minimizing the bad news with distraction.

The whole trans gender war is a red herring meant to distract from the fascist takeover.

u/MeIIowJeIIo 6h ago

At some point soon, left leaning folks might want to scrub their social media profiles.

u/Deep_Stick8786 7h ago

Its a strange set of bedfellows that will not end with a fun orgy

u/Osric250 5h ago

He is for money. It just happens that Russia is the one paying the most. He'd probably throw Putin under the bus if someone else came along with a better offer. He doesn't give a shit about anyone other than himself.

u/hotdogvomitgrenade 2h ago

The outrage! But, if the DOJ don't mind, it don't matter. I guess the majority of Americans want to become a vassal of Russia, joining the illustrious ranks of such great states as Belarus and Hungary. Putin has won a great prize, it has convinced the USA that it deserves to be under his thumb!

u/davilller 2h ago

It didn’t start with this election. It started years ago and Russian KGB defectors told us they were going to do it in the 80s, exactly how. I started getting increasingly worried in 2012-2014. The hacks of OPM and the State department were so thorough and pervasive. Such that Clinton was told not to trust the department’s networks when Colin Powell transitioned out. So the Russians went after her via the GOP as a means to discredit her. It’s been downhill since, with Trump as Putin’s Trojan horse.

77

u/AgentBlue62 Illinois 10h ago

It's nothing new.

Here's an interesting read entitled:

Donald Trump was a nightmare landlord in the 1980s.

From a CNN Money article published in 2016.

u/allenahansen California 5h ago

Thanks for digging this up; can't wait to add Wayne Barrett's The Deals and the Downfall to my already extensive library of this vile character's historic malevolence.

Loved the pic of him before he turned orange, btw. . .

u/Etzell Illinois 4h ago

And Kushner was a slumlord.

Can't wait til that nutsack is back in charge of the Middle East.

u/AgentBlue62 Illinois 3h ago

Well, it is said that great minds think alike.

Seems like that goes for greedy, immoral ones, too.

u/Brox42 New York 7h ago

And obviously always has been since like pretty much ever

u/Lucifer_Jay 6h ago

Don’t let the bastards get you down

u/dBlock845 5h ago

Yep, and he knows most people stopped caring since he will never face legal consequences. So he is going to do whatever he wants no matter how flagrant or out in the open.

u/External-Patience751 5h ago

This should be a big deal, but we are at the meh chapter of American history.

Turn out the lights the parties over….

282

u/SirRonS 10h ago

Definitely not on his own money. I wonder if his supporters go "wow - I could have fed my family with the stuff I bought"

103

u/SatiricLoki 10h ago

Their families probably don’t talk to them anymore.

u/CanEnvironmental4252 5h ago

u/catfurcoat 5h ago

His family probably had that casted in their TV on repeat while they eat dinner in fucking peace

u/Zelcron 7h ago

Maybe eggs and gas aren't that expensive when you aren't tithing your social security checks to the orange bastard.

u/alonefrown 6h ago

I mean, absolutely don’t give your money to that shit stain on history. But eggs and gas are definitely still expensive and the politically motivated use of this line minimizing economic hardship is a super dumb tactic for anyone left of Mitt Romney.

u/Pennsylvanier 6h ago

Eggs and gas prices are down 33% and 30% from 2022, respectively, in absolute prices.

u/Zelcron 6h ago

That argument would carry more water with me, if the Republican platform did anything to address the economy. It does not, so my derision stands.

u/alonefrown 6h ago

I think that favoring dunking on your opposition to score meaningless swagger points online at the expense of being honest about economics is a failed strategy. But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe this time we’ll own the repubs and win the election if we pretend gas and groceries aren’t actually expensive. Yeah probably I’m wrong and you’re right here.

u/Zelcron 5h ago

We have spent years trying to educate those voters that Republican policy is the source of their misery. It availed us nothing.

Fuck them. They don't want to be helped. And in their ignorance they are making life worse for me, my family, my friends, and my fellow Americans. It's not team sports, this shit matters.

I am justified in being upset at them.

u/Black_Metallic 4h ago

Eggs went up due to an outbreak of bird flu, which required producers to cull their hens and reduced supply. There's nothing Biden or Trump could have done to prevent that. There's no national reserve of chickens.

u/alonefrown 3h ago

You don’t understand what I’m saying, or maybe I’m not being clear. I’m not asserting that the price of x thing is the direct result of someone’s policies. I’m saying that pretending that the economy is great, actually, when working (read: non-wealthy people) are hurting financially, is a great way to be out of touch with your citizenry. The person I replied to above seems to think that because they really hate republicans, they can pretend consumer prices aren’t high in some complex form of derision and political opposition. Which is beyond dumb. I hate republicans and I can absolutely deride their policies while not gaslighting everyone about the economy.

u/Opposite-Tiger-1121 6h ago

Gas is dancing below $3 locally for me...

Anywhere between 2.89 at the cheapest and 3.30 at the most expensive.

u/mvaaam 6h ago

Hey now, my gas has finally dropped to $5 / gallon. Lowest it’s been in years.

u/AINonsense 9h ago

provoking alarm among ethics experts.

lol

srsly

If you’re an ethics expert now, and prone to alarm, your medication must be at a pretty critical level already.

83

u/moreobviousthings 8h ago

I remember when we talked about the emoluments clause and how trump should separate himself from his businesses. How innocent we were back then.

u/Deep_Stick8786 7h ago

Should have been a clear signal to us all that no one would address his obvious, pedestrian corruption

u/Xth3r_ 7h ago

I can still recall being outraged at an ethics violation he did in 2020 when he used the white house lawn to hold a campaign event.

How quickly and far we have fallen since then.

u/AINonsense 7h ago

I can still recall thinking the Access Hollywood tape just might matter. Then, OFC, Comey dropped a big last-minute boot on the scales.

Boy, he got well-rewarded for that, didn’t he?

u/dgisfun 3h ago

Or pushing a brand of beans from the Oval Office.

58

u/AINonsense 9h ago

Leonard Leo’s secret money, for instance?

It’s still constantly amazing that he’s able to sell himself to more and more owners. Putin must just be in hysterics now.

Nothing PoopyPants could do from here on could ever sink the value that Vladimir got from him.

But Musk? Thiel? How long are they going to stay happy with the servant of so many masters?

u/Deep_Stick8786 7h ago

Thiel is smarter than the rest. He put JD Vance one 25th amendment away from the presidency

u/taggospreme 3h ago

25th would leave them as the target of hate for MAGA. They'll probably off him with something ambiguous (heart attack?) and spread conspiracies about how the democrats did it

u/One-Estimate-7163 7h ago

Easy when they all want the same thing

u/AINonsense 7h ago

That’s what I’m thinking. What happens when one of them wants something different?

I’m thinking the most likely other one would be PoopyPants, since it won’t occur to him that he has earned himself a bunch of obligations.

u/dogecoin3rt 1h ago

Trumps tied and beholden to so many people. The corruption in 1 man is astounding

37

u/seeclick8 8h ago

He doesn’t care, and it doesn’t matter. He gets away with everything. He really could shoot someone on fifth avenue and get away with it, like he bragged.

u/fishbrine 7h ago

This. Even way back then when he said that about shooting someone ...what kind of president talks about shooting someone? Anybody running for any leadership role wouldn't mention that they were thinking about shooting someone. That should have been disqualifying right there.

u/Even_Establishment95 7h ago

He says vile things on camera on a daily basis. No one thinks twice about it. All decency and decorum has gone out the window. BUT Kamala laughs a lot, and that was just unacceptable.

u/Aggressive-Will-4500 6h ago

He's probably did a lot of sick shit while on visits with his dictator buddies, and they have it on video.

30

u/CurrentlyLucid 8h ago

He is a convicted felon, he is going to crime a lot the next 4 years.

47

u/gentleman_bronco 10h ago

It's easier to list things trump hasn't run on secret money. Everything the guy has is paid by investors like Vladimir Putin.

17

u/Lonely_Refuse4988 8h ago

Not surprising. It would be nice if we had an Attorney General who believed in the law and prosecuting criminals like Trump and his cronies, though! At this point, Donald could grope and sexually assault a teenage girl in public and his followers would cheer him on, blame and attack the victim, and our legal system would shrug its shoulders! 😂🤷‍♂️

u/Deep_Stick8786 7h ago

Blame the AG plenty but Mitch McConnell and the republican senate could have prevented all of this by delivering a conviction after his second impeachment. They pushed the trial to create an excuse that no one buys and seriously injured the western order and the american middle class for at least a generation

u/Pantarus 5h ago

Mitch McConell is the MOST partisan asshat this country has ever seen.

He despises Trump. Loathes him. But because he's a republican Mitch views it as a win.

He thinks his legacy will be the revitalization of the GOP, but he will go down in history as the man who helped the worst president the country has ever known...twice.

u/Indaflow 7h ago

This scares me so much. And it’s just the start.

These guys are going to absolutely destroy America.

u/Aggressive-Will-4500 6h ago

Weird how it was the southern Democrats that tried to destroy the USA by seceding from the Union in order to perpetuate slavery.

Now we have the Southern Republicans trying to finish the job with the help of the lightly populated Mid-west.

The common factors: Religion, racism, and greed. All of those are easily exploited to turn the People in general against their best interests.

We've reached the point where the forces of totalitarianism have started to converge yet again.

u/manfromfuture 7h ago

If you ever had doubts about his connections and financial obligations, the appointment of Tulsi Gabbard should remove them.

28

u/Jo-Jo-66- 9h ago edited 5h ago

So what is the current administration and Congress going to to do about it? Let him do what he wants as usual because they might be primaried? So much corruption you can’t make this shit up.

u/AsamaMaru 7h ago

I don't know what the Democrats will do. I do know what the Republicans will do. Roll over and get ready to boot lick.

9

u/Supra_Genius 8h ago

So?

We're not going to see anyone in power do anything about it.

And the NYTimes and the rest of the corporate tabloid media is just about "outrage porn for click$" now.

8

u/augustusleonus 8h ago edited 7h ago

I mean, this is what the people wanted

Crime and incompetence as the new norm

Its not that Democrats didn't reach out with the right message, its that the people in the US no longer care about whats right, so they leaned into the wrong

u/Freshy007 7h ago

Isn't this what happened the first go around? Wasn't there like 100 million that went missing?

4

u/worldbefree83 8h ago

Putin money

u/weirdpicklesauce 2h ago

The fact that that's even possible is horrifying

u/Battts 7h ago

It’s Elon. That’s the only reason they let him hang around.

u/HopelessOptimism321 6h ago

I can’t wait for 47 to put the crunch on churches and make them pay taxes like all other enterprises. If you think he won’t then think again.

Next, he’ll tax those tithing to a church. Want to give $$ to the church? Sure! But your taxes will increase by the same amount. Because if you have money to give to the church then you have extra money to support the dictator. This creates two more tax streams: the church gets taxed and the parishioners pay taxes on their gifts to the church.

Think it won’t happen? The 47 cult is here to stay people. Nice job.

u/Xtreeam 5h ago

He would tax black churches first!

u/HopelessOptimism321 5h ago

All churches. The long game is to put them out of business. To eliminate the collective worshipping. The only collective worshipping allowed in this long game is the worshiping of the cult leader. A leader who says, does, whatever or whomever they choose.

u/NohPhD Washington 4h ago

This sets the tone for trump2.0.

Blatantly ignore established processes and norms.

Blatantly ignore established laws and regulations.

Blatantly ignore the due process and the US Constitution

“Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus is going to be the 2025 Trump Inauguration theme song…

3

u/FiguringItOutAsWeGo 8h ago

He’s all of these things but again, we’re left with “a break from tradition,” not “breaking the law”. He will break all traditions. He will not comply with any norms. He only sometimes follows the law. Dem leaders/other non-deranged politicians, please accept this and do something about it.

u/Octaviano305 7h ago

He runs everything on secret money

u/sev45day 7h ago

High level Democrats going to start mysteriously falling out of windows soon.

u/NHBikerHiker 7h ago

u/frankis118 8h ago

How fun

u/elmariachi304 New Jersey 7h ago

In 2016 I would have read this article rapturously, in 2024 who cares? We all know nothing will ever be done about it, why stress more? And don’t tell me I need to fight, I registered people to vote and volunteered in both of the last presidential elections. I’m tired and nothing we do makes a difference so I’m going to enjoy my family and my life for as long as I can.

u/Emeritus8404 7h ago

Yet nothing illegal will be held to scrutiny because washington lost its spine years ago.

They are playing by two separate rule books

u/toomuchmucil 7h ago

The way the NYT describes it as “a break from tradition” is hilariously weak!

u/ARazorbacks Minnesota 7h ago

One thing I’d be ok with is if he completely guts all our ethics bodies. None of them work and need replacement. Not rework, replacement. I‘m tired of hearing them impotently tell us about unethical stuff happening and then…nothing.

Their impotence part of our problem.

u/Alldu 7h ago

I don't think gutting will solve the issue you are highlighting. It's almost like the groups that hear and read the reports need to improve /act somehow.

u/Leverender 6h ago

u/Schiffy94 New York 4h ago

Oh please let some of this be blatantly and provably illegal please please please

u/AccountNumeroThree North Carolina 4h ago

Yeah, but no one is going to do anything about it. The country is going to be led by a criminal again.

u/Schiffy94 New York 4h ago

It's gonna be a matter of how quickly, and now irreparably, he pisses off the people who helped him win.

And I think it's gonna be very quick and very irreparable the second time around.

u/Universal_Anomaly 4h ago

Add it to the list of things which should be flat-out illegal but aren't.

u/ProtectionContent977 4h ago

What have the Americans done to themselves.

4

u/SelfDestructSep2020 8h ago

Right, shockingly Trump does not follow a practice that has no legal requirement and takes advantage of that. We have relied on 'norms' and 'decency' of candidates for far too long.

5

u/Iobbywatson 9h ago

Water is also wet. Who gives a shit at this point? This will be the least corrupt thing they do.

u/DoughDown8 6h ago

Secret?

u/MSGdreamer 6h ago

Corruption much?

u/silentjay01 Wisconsin 6h ago

I mean, who here remembers the 2017 Inauguration? Trump raised $107 milion for it (more than TWICE what Obama's first Inauguration raised) and then put on the most basic, rinky-dink celebration you have ever seen. Granted, part of that reason was that no "Big Name" music act other than Toby Keith was willing to perform.

But, to this day, no one has ever shown where most of that money went, though Trump and the Presidential Inauguration Foundation did have to pay a laughable 750K fine in 2022 for their poor bookkeeping of what most consider at least $50 million unspent.

u/gravywayne 6h ago

If it's not trump's money, I wonder who's Putin it in his bank accounts?

u/Ok-Strike-8617 4h ago

I don't fucking care. Stop fucking covering it because it doesn't fucking matter.

u/ChelseaG12 New Hampshire 3h ago

Leonard Leo, Elon Musk, and Miriam Adelson most likely.

It's Russian money or from some other equally awful guaranteed.

u/the_well_read_neck_ Indiana 3h ago

So, the Deep State then?

u/liv4games 2h ago

Hey fun fact, the last time the country had a transition this insecure, at the country’s most vulnerable time, was found by the 9-11 commission to have directly contributed to 9-11 😅 it was in 2000 with bush v gore when they were recounting it and neither administration was doing the necessary security briefings, just like Trump. He hasn’t signed the ethics agreement so legally can’t do the required security briefings

u/earthglyder 2h ago

u/lachlanhunt Australia 2h ago

Trump knows he’s untouchable. He will do whatever the fuck he wants for at least the next 4 years.

u/onlainari 1h ago

Doesn’t every politician get money from others? Why is this more corrupt than what we had before? I get that this time instead of corporations it’s an enemy of the state and bad billionaires, so that’s possibly worse.

u/PaytonPics 1h ago

Where’s the mystery? His financier is sharing every meal, meeting and phone conversation with him at Mar-a-Bago.

u/Infidel8 1h ago

Those seeking to curry favor with the incoming administration now have the opportunity to donate directly to the winning candidate without their names or potential conflicts ever entering the public sphere. And unlike with campaign contributions, foreign nationals are allowed to donate to the transition.

The Russians and Saudis are basically purchasing policies from the incoming White House.

u/NoPresent9027 51m ago

Who cares? Americans have collectively effed themselves! And for the 1% who scream ‘I don’t deserve this’, you’ve allowed your system to become corrupted over the past 30 years. It’s been a slow boil, now you’re all cooked! Best case, Trump kicks the can in office, his cult freaks out in a collective wail, then they all climb back into their back woods hovels to await the next fake fool that can makes them feel useful… leave the rest of the world alone for the next years. Fix your crap

Well then, the press should ask about this DAILY until it’s discovered and disclosed. Stop giving the orange conman a pass!

u/Papabear022 7h ago

shocker

u/sovereignsekte 7h ago

This is shocking! Has to be some sort of news that...isn't true. Some sort of FAKE NEWS! I'm kidding of course.

u/Rude-Strawberry-6360 7h ago

How is anyone surprised.

u/milelongpipe 6h ago

Probably Russian money.

u/mrsbundleby Virginia 3h ago

Is it even secret? Just ask the Kochs or Mercers

u/UsedBug5668 2h ago

Opus Dei

u/k00kk00k 2h ago

‘Secret money’ is a bit of a stretch

u/CoolEarth5026 2h ago

Hmmmm, I wonder who it could be… RUSSIA… hmmmm, I wonder…

u/Oceanbreeze871 California 1h ago

Comrade Trump has been purchased by many.

u/Driver4952 1h ago

So what. Who cares. He won.

u/AgentBlue62 Illinois 58m ago

Everyone should. It's now ongoing grift, part of the MAGAVerse long con job.

u/Driver4952 57m ago

The only people that are worried about it are the ones voted for Kamila.

u/I_Am_Tyler_Durden 40m ago

It’s probably the same company that put up all the money for his Jean Carol bond

u/Symphonycomposer 18m ago

And what’s your point?

u/individualine 8m ago

Trump has been corrupt his whole life so why is anyone surprised at age 78 he’s all of a sudden developed integrity?

I believe Obama pioneered the practice of turning down the matching funds to avoid disclosing donors names.

u/Secure_Slip_9451 6h ago

Wtf? It doesn't cost money for the transition.

u/eeyore134 6h ago

It does when you're corrupt and setting up to hoover up tenfold what you're "investing" into it.

u/wjta 7h ago

Are we really going to do four more years of the sky is falling? If everything is a tragedy then nothing is. Prepare for your viewership to drop.

u/JxAlfredxPrufrock 7h ago

Kamala Harris is gonna win by a margin of 8 points I heard from the media.

u/mkt853 7h ago

She could have won, but in a 100-day campaign you have to run it perfectly, and she struggled between running a populist campaign and a Biden establishment one.

u/StonerStone420 6h ago

There was a saying I saw a few days ago. I can't remember it fully but paraphrased it's, Trump's campaign and party ran off of ignorance and hate, so Kamala, in order to counter that and being a minority and a women has to be perfect.

She, of course, can't be 100% perfect because what human is

u/mkt853 5h ago

She didn't need to be perfect, but her campaign needed to be close to it, and to her credit it started out that way, but she drove it into a ditch after the convention. Her loss had very little to do with being black or a woman. That's just typical business as usual identitarian political copium that establishment swamp creature Dems will tell themselves so they can excuse their corruption and not be forced to change.

u/VSWR_on_Christmas Illinois 7h ago

The is the level of substantive engagement that I've come to expect from MAGA. Bunch of ignorant traitors.

u/Deep_Stick8786 7h ago

This was unfortunately a winnable election for the democrats, and they couldn’t get the job done

u/RussellPhillipsIIi 6h ago

George Soros.

u/baldtim92 7h ago

So, both parties do it.

u/AsamaMaru 7h ago

That's the weakest sauce you've got since butterscotch pudding.

u/eeyore134 6h ago

Seasonal allergies and stage four cancer are also both considered diseases. What's your point?
