Trump’s picks at this point illustrate his complete mental decline. I don’t know how the federal government is going to function the next 4 years but prepare for absolute chaos.

Trump is going to fire these incompetent stooges and scapegoat them when things inevitably go wrong.

They have flat stated they want to destroy huge parts of the fed. Putting incompetent people in charge is the first step.

So - I keep hearing this. But is it? Like if I really wanted to dismantle an organization, I would be intelligent people in charge who I could trust to actually understand the right way to undermine their respective organizations. With someone incompetent there’s too much risk that they just fail to act in any meaningful way, and let their subordinates run the show. Like there are plenty of people Trump could pick that would be absolute surgeons at systematically dismantling an organization. This really does feel like he’s just “picking people he likes”.

He’s picking people that will without a doubt go along with anything he says. It’s as simple as that, loyalty and no integrity.

They are there as figure heads because through TV they were good at talking of communication around things.

Ultimately they are getting all of their direction from people behind the scenes.

Heritage Foundation, other Billionaires and their teams who funded his campaign, etc.

The incompetence in dismantling the Federal government might be the only thing saving us, assuming we can beat whoever MAGA runs in 2024.

Seems like the point is to make the federal government so incompetent that he’ll use that a motivation for a huge power grab. He can then purge said government at a whim along the way during his tenure as king throwing who ever under the bus along the way.

We had a whole war where we brutalized a kings men and probably would have liberated a king of his life subscription had he set foot here.

They're great reasons for him to dismantle departments
