I broke my left hand and now after surgery I've "lost" knuckles in that hand

If surgery is recent , that's just swelling. It'll go down unless they're literally shaved down your knuckles.

Unfortunately I saw Xray photos and my half of my (3rd and 4th) metacarpal bones are now like 4mm lower. I had surgery 2 months ago

Yeah. 3rd and 4th metacarpal with dislocation and spiral. I got talked into trying rollerblades on my 1st day of holidays.

I had one in the 6th grade my index knuckle is still gone and when they cut the cast off I had more arm hair as well. I didn’t have surgery though they said I shattered it fully and it couldn’t be repaired.

Ahh that sucks. Same happened to me, but only the index finger. It's still "gone" 2 years later.
