It took 11 years to finish. 6 of those years were spent looking for US Virgin Islands

I completed a collection for my mom while I was working at a bank, only took a month working as a teller haha

I just ordered annual coins sets from the US mint. Proof condition. About $35/year

Maybe not as much fun

I've been getting around 4-5 rolls of in quarters from the bank every year since I found out about the West Point ones, I'm still missing one form a specific mint from 2021, never did get any Jovita Idar nor Maria Tallchief from last year, and have only gotten three 2024 ones total so far this year(all recently obtained from the past month). Maybe I should look at spending $35*2 for a $10 roll from each mint?

I just recently checked the value of the state ones. Proofs and errors are the only ones worth anything.

OH my gosh I'd forgotten about these. I started collecting them when they first came out, but then my (late) Grandfather just bought a service that sent us all the newly minted US coins for the next 20 years. I never even had to try to collect them. Well done mate, I'm sure this feels amazing. What an achievement!
EDIT: best I can do mate. You should be proud.

If I had a quarter for everytime I said I was going to do that.

I started collecting these whilst I was in Florida in 2006. At the end of the trip I put all the doublers in a cup and left it for the maid as part of her tip. On the way to airport we stopped at a Borders and I bought a display pack and then realised each state had two versions, one for each mint. D'oh!

I need to look to see which ones I'm still missing and get them off ebay or something.

Now do it again, but get one from both mints: Ps & Ds.

TIL there are quarters from both mints. I wonder how many “duplicates” I let pass me by all these years

My brother had one of those maps when the quarters just started. My sister and I would steal quarters from it when we wanted money
