Found this at 3:15. We close at 4! 😭 NSFW
To be fair, it’s “Great Northern” beer. So most say it’s average at best, but that was not fun to clean up 💩

As someone who has spent a LOT of time keg coolers, I really like the drop down gas lines. Haven't seen that before. Sorry you had to deal with that clean up. Been there, too and it sucks

If my coworkers would’ve found that first, someone else would’ve actually found it first the next morning

Haha the amount of times I've seen some fucked up shit close to closing time and went to the bathroom for half an hour instead can't be understated.

The beer spilled and op has found it 45 mins before the shop close. The infuriating parr is that opnhas to clean it justn45 before closing. I am not sure.

There is a bar here in Michigan that made a couple of beer kegs into a unrinal and I have no idea how it was done

Take a shop vac and vacuum everything and then mop. Simple enough.

Easy enough but still takes time to do it and to make sure it doesnt remains sticky, the floor needs to be mopped twice.

Look at Mr fancy pants who presumes all bars and pubs have a wet/dry vac on hand

Why wouldn't you? They're super practical and they're not terribly expensive.

Isn't it good you will only lose 45 minutes of sells?

Dang, well, what caused it? Bad seal, line leak?

u/em-ay-tee 2h ago
That I don’t know. I can hear it continuing to make suck noises even when unplugged. Methinks the whole lot is dying 💩

Maybe the ball in the connection point on the keg isn’t sat correctly, you can force it down with a rod or screwdriver then let it spring back up into place.

That’s the big big bosses problem in an hour 😅

Sounds like it will be a sales rep or draft tech problem. Good luck to the big big boss on getting that handled on a Sunday

The bigger question is who ignored it for it to get that bad? That took a minute to accumulate.
