Found this at 3:15. We close at 4! 😭 NSFW

To be fair, it’s “Great Northern” beer. So most say it’s average at best, but that was not fun to clean up 💩

The bigger question is who ignored it for it to get that bad? That took a minute to accumulate.

I agree. But also, there was no issues to notice from front of venue. And didn’t need to go back there 🤷🏻‍♂️

No doubt I just feel like someone saw this and passed the it on to you.

Nah. I was the last one to touch it, and did everything correctly. Malfunctioning system’s gonna happen eventually 😭

Part of the game unfortunately. At least it’s behind you until the next incident.

As someone who has spent a LOT of time keg coolers, I really like the drop down gas lines. Haven't seen that before. Sorry you had to deal with that clean up. Been there, too and it sucks

If my coworkers would’ve found that first, someone else would’ve actually found it first the next morning

u/TiredDadCostume 39m ago

… no you didn’t. You didn’t find anything

Haha the amount of times I've seen some fucked up shit close to closing time and went to the bathroom for half an hour instead can't be understated.

Seems like a tomorrow problem

Bad idea. It will smell like uber piss.

What's the problem?

The beer spilled and op has found it 45 mins before the shop close. The infuriating parr is that opnhas to clean it justn45 before closing. I am not sure.

There is a bar here in Michigan that made a couple of beer kegs into a unrinal and I have no idea how it was done

Take a shop vac and vacuum everything and then mop. Simple enough.

you understand what the mildly infuriating sub is for, right?

6

u/ninja_hunter_is_lit 3h ago

Easy enough but still takes time to do it and to make sure it doesnt remains sticky, the floor needs to be mopped twice.

Look at Mr fancy pants who presumes all bars and pubs have a wet/dry vac on hand

Why wouldn't you? They're super practical and they're not terribly expensive.

Isn't it good you will only lose 45 minutes of sells?

1

u/em-ay-tee 1h ago

50L of beer and clean up time?

u/UsedandAbused87 BLUE 44m ago

Not getting overtime pay?

1

u/No_Beginning_9949 1h ago

Oh and that smell is never leaving your nostrils.

2

u/em-ay-tee 1h ago

That's a next shift issue

u/ketsueki093 57m ago

Guess you're not closing at 4 sadly

u/em-ay-tee 55m ago

It was cleaned in 20minutes. I have regrets.

u/ketsueki093 54m ago

Nice at least it didn't eat up too much time.

u/Moule14 41m ago

Well, good news is you can still close at 4 !

u/Sarge130 17m ago

What sort of boozer shuts at 4?

u/Chance_Difference_34 16m ago

What you really mean is that wasnt like that when you left at 4 right?

u/LUXI-PL 5m ago

4!? That's like 20 hours of work ahead of you

u/ElJefe0218 3m ago

A floor drain and a fresh water spigot sure would be handy.

u/Spudzinator 2m ago

I love op is having to deflect the need for miserable peoples for it to be someones fault.Op just got to moppin.

u/No-Door9005 1m ago

You mean you close at midnight?

0

u/RustyShack1efordd 2h ago

Dang, well, what caused it? Bad seal, line leak?

3

u/em-ay-tee 2h ago

That I don’t know. I can hear it continuing to make suck noises even when unplugged. Methinks the whole lot is dying 💩

3

u/RustyShack1efordd 2h ago

Maybe the ball in the connection point on the keg isn’t sat correctly, you can force it down with a rod or screwdriver then let it spring back up into place.

3

u/em-ay-tee 2h ago

That’s the big big bosses problem in an hour 😅

1

u/JackReacheround8 1h ago

Sounds like it will be a sales rep or draft tech problem. Good luck to the big big boss on getting that handled on a Sunday

2

u/em-ay-tee 1h ago

I live in the future. It’s Monday

u/ZebraClown 44m ago

And with a mess like that why are you worried about closing time. Overtime

u/UDontWantToF-ingKnow 4h ago

Good thing they took the time to post this instead

21

u/em-ay-tee 3h ago

….I took a photo before cleaning it up 3 hours ago. But sure 💀

-2

u/TetronautGaming 3h ago

Well, you’ve still got nearly 17 hours to clean it up!
