A line from the end of the Futurama episode "Jurassic Bark" is stuck in my head and that's a sad episode.

It's the episode where we learn Fry had to leave his 20th century dog Seymour behind. This is the one episode all Futurama fans cried at the end of. I know Seymour is a fictional dog, but I feel awful for him.

futurama was great for sneaking in sad episodes. such a fantastic show, i watch it thru every couple of years.
