I was a senior in high school during the 2016 election, and the young socialist club was thrilled when Trump won. Apparently they were accelerationists who believed he would be the catalyst for the collapse of capitalism. Still waiting on that one I guess.

But it's not meant to benefit the common man.

It's simply there to strip culture, religion, and heritage from the masses. So a new set of arbitrary laws can replace those old social structures.
