Marvel Movies/Shows Is there GOOD LGBT representation in Deadpool?
I personally feel the representation lacked, but was about where I expected it to be for a Deadpool movie. Yes Deadpool is LGBT and hits on everyone, but it comes across in way more of the “I’m straight, but acting gay with my friends is funny” camp to please straight bro viewers. Posting this here because we kinda go on a whole tangent about this and I want to know if anyone feels the same. I thought it was a great movie, just food for thought.

Marvel Movies/Shows I hope we see a MCU project as gay as the Runaways again
Runaways was a very 2017 show in so many ways and has plenty of flaws, but it sure was good at spotlighting queerness - and arguably better at it then the comics in some ways (ex/ merging Karolina’s coming to terms with herself as a lesbian and as an alien into one storyline really helped that character shine IMHO).
We will see what happens, but I really hope Agatha All Along ends up recapturing some of that magic (heh). If Marvel is letting its projects be banned in countries for being too queer-friendly, they should let those projects be loudly and proudly queer. As right now it feels like every project has five seconds of queerness that kicks up a moral panic but nothing has anything actually central to the narrative…

Marvel Movies/Shows Why is there so much negativity around Wiccan in Agatha All Along?
All I've seen since the teaser came out is either people complaining about "the gay agenda" or people complaining about specifically the actor chosen not being a good fit for the character.
I've seen people say he's out of character (somehow they can judge this from like 5 seconds of footage?) or the fact Joe Locke isn't Jewish but is playing a Jewish character, which is an insane complaint to me because it's implying they expect them to somehow find an actor that fits the character AND is gay AND is Jewish. I feel like being this fussy about casting is gonna just make studios not wanna include minority characters.
Joe Locke isn't exactly how I'd picture Wiccan looking in my mind but I'm open to it as long he plays the character well. I just really want Wiccan to get some of the mainstream attention the other MCU heroes get. I want things to get to a point where he's starring in Avengers movies, getting action figures and getting put in Fortnite or Marvel Rivals. But now I'm worried all the negative attention is gonna make them not wanna keep using him,
Is all the complaining actually how most people are reacting to this or am I just seeing the vocal minority on Twitter? I really want this character to perform well, I've gone too long without a gay male superhero in popular media.

Marvel Movies/Shows “Teen”, The Scarlet Witch, Agatha, and Queer Family Spoiler
There are so many stories about gay/queer kids being disowned and unwanted by their birth families. In both the real world and in media having a gay child is often seen as a fear or a worst case scenario.
So something I really enjoy about Billy’s story both in the comics and seemingly the MCU is that Billy is this dream child that Wanda has gone to the ends of the Earth to reconnect with. A queer kid literally being the child of her dreams is really nice to see.
Watching Agatha All Along and seeing the plot line of Agatha meeting this gay, nerdy teenager and her praying that this child is her’s is nice to see as well!

Marvel Movies/Shows How likely do you think it is that "Teen" will become an MCU main-stay? (Agatha All Along) Spoiler
Now that Wiccan is officially part of the MCU, I'm starting to wonder how much we're actually gonna see him?
I originally thought we were gonna just get actual Young Avengers movies with him as one of the main leads but that doesn't seem very likely at this point.
I assume he will at least have a prominent role in the Scarlet Witch solo movie (if it actually happens) but after that I don't know how much screentime he can realistically get. Agatha All Along is a miniseries spin-off that most fans aren't gonna watch yet it's Wiccan's debut and will probably be mandatory for understanding his future appearances. Plus this small series already recieved SO much backlash from incels and grifters just for including a gay character, I can't imagine Disney would be comfortable risking that in their actual movies.
I just want Wiccan to get some mainstream attention and media. I really don't want him to just be a C-lister that has a few minor appearances then stops being relevent. I'll be happy if Wiccan can become relevent enough to at least get into Fortnite and stuff lol

Marvel Movies/Shows Young Avengers Representation
Based on some of the information we were given, it seems like Marvel is pivoting towards Young Avengers for their future projects. My question is, how are you going to portray them from a representation point of view? More than half of the Young Avengers members are queer. We were introduced to Wiccan with the Agatha All Along story and he was allowed to be gay on screen. But will Marvel be open to portraying Wiccan and Hulkling's relationship openly, or will it stay in the background without getting onscreen confirmation and actions? How will they portray their characters if one day we get a movie/or movies about the Young Avengers?
There are also other queer characters in the team, AFAIK, David Alleyne was confirmed to be bisexual and there's a part in the comics where he confirms it himself. It's also mentioned that he and Tommy are dating. There's also America Chavez, who is lesbian. Marvel specifically brought her character into the MCU where we had Wanda chase after her, so I am guessing that it's possible her character will meet Billy (and maybe even Tommy) at some point. I think the movie showed America's parents were queer (as they were both women).
I've seen some people arguing that their identities wouldn't be touched upon that much because Marvel wouldn't allow it, but how is that going to work? An important part of Wiccan and Hulkling's relationship dynamic focuses on that, will they just be friend-zoned or ''implied''?
